Do you play "Good' or "Evil" when given the choice?

Usually good, in terms of the big picture.

Individual wise, I tend to leave a pile of corpses everywhere I go.

I tend to stick around the gray area, only jumping to one alignment should it suit my needs or catch my interest. So I guess I'd fall into the "Neutral Evil" category, being self-centered and only doing what helps me.

Evil, because it's fun.
Unfortunately, most games in which you have the possibility to be evil still limit the evil too much.

Well evil rewards always seems to be WAY cooler than good. I mean would you prefer some crappy reward or lots of money and an explosion? Theres no debate. Although in more story driven games I do sometimes end up doing good stuff too.

Often I do both. That way I see every possible outcome. Unlike the unfortunate Michaels. :D

I like to experience both good and evil choices in games so I will usually play as a bad guy first and then after I beat it will play as a good guy. If we are allowed to pick genders in the game I will have to replay it four times because I like to see how some characters might react to a female or male.

If given the specific option, "do this and be good or do this and be bad" I usually choose bad. Mainly because there are more games that force you to be good than there are that force you to be bad. I love having the option there and like to take advantage of it.

However, if I like the characters such as if I can choose to kill the main character's friend and be evil I won't. I'm a big fan of characters and can get very attached to them so if I have to kill someone I like off I'd rather not.

In sandbox games, though, I do whatever feels the most entertaining. Whether that be stealing cars in GTA or sliding on bodies in Prototype I do whatever I feel like. Of course though, those games don't really have a hero as the main character. So I guess I prefer to be bad! :)

I'm Lawful Evil, trust me, we're all one and the same in the end.

sometimes on game that arent easy or hard i first play through the game two times both ways in easier games i sometimes always play good because everyone knows that its always harder in games to be good instead of evil and on much harder games i play as evil because its eassier
*stares blankly for ten mins*
oh, I see. good is harder... so play good on easy games, normal difficulty - try both, and evil on hard games.
I think evil only offers an easier path, IE why traipse about the wasteland when you can kill the guy and take his package and for yourself. If you're evil you have to play games to make things interesting

Good first because it makes the game a little bit harder, evil characters don't need to work for their stuff, they just take it.

Evil first play through, good second time round.

Though I must admit I'm never really consciously evil. I'd describe my perspective on it as being practical and efficient.

One thing I'm glad to start seeing developers do is that they're making ostensibly good actions have somewhat negative outcomes. That is an essential part of being heroic...you don't always win in the conventional sense.

Always the good guy though i can be a real dickhead against evil characters. For exemple in Fallout 3 I went to the slave town with a Fatman...And i think you can figure out the rest.

I am always good. I don't seem to be able to choose to be bad. I play like me, and I'm not the kind of person who gets off on kicking puppies or being a jerkwad.

I am neither good nor bad in a game i normally play neutral. As live my as i do my life i just do what i want to do that sometimes is a good thing or an evil only thing just depends to what i want to do_Only thing that annoys me in games is because my characters swing from slighty evil to slighty good without going fully either way i normally dont get the benefits of either side.

My 3 rules of good vs bad systems
I will not let people take my weapons.

Try to kill me and i will kill you.

If an authority trys to tell me to do anything or get in my way i do the opposite and it ends badly for them.

I'm usually always the good guy, it's usually easier and more convenient than evil. Except in Dark Messiah: Might and Magic, in which case, the evil chick was just way to hot to get rid of.

I play as good. I dunno, I just kinda feel bad killing off randoms NPCs if there is no point.
I know they aren't real, but I still feel guilty
