I just watched My Name is Bruce. I recommend it if you like cheesy b-movies that know that they are cheesy b-movies.

The last movie I watched (or re-watched to be more exact) was one of my favorite animated films, The Iron Giant. And in case it wasn't obvious from my first sentence, yes, I highly recommend it.

I believe that the last movie that I saw was MST3K The Movie. Ironically, it's shorter than an average episode. But if you are new to MST3K, and have an interest in it, this movie is the perfect place to start. So yes. I do recommend it.

Hmmm... Nacho Libre...
Well, it's essentially Jack Black in tights with a Spanish accent. If that appeals to you, go for it.

The Count of Monte Cristo (2002). Too much Monte, not enough Cristo. I kid, it's a good movie.

Do I recommend Rosemary's Baby... uh... well... I suppose so. I mean if you're into predictable endings.

Tron 2? No. The visuals were perfect, the music was good, and the acting was alright, but the plot was a bloody mess. It was like they took four or five scripts and smashed them together in hopes of making some kind of super-script. Concepts and characters appear and vanish without purpose, the overarching story was flawed, forcing virtually every character to carry the idiot ball, and the plot twists were paint-by-numbers obvious.

This setting deserved a better story. This movie should've posed challenges related to the linking of human and computer and the meaning of intelligence, like Inception or even The Matrix. A lot of ground has been covered since the original came out, and this movie could've taken advantage of that. It's disappointing, to say the least.
Oh god do I ever agree with this. I mean, Tron 2 could have gone anywhere, it could have gone the way of Ghost in the Shell. Machines/programs that look human but aren't but have the ability to empathise/be devious beyond their original functions? There's so much potential in that it makes me want to punch the screenwriters in the face, many many times.

That makes me even more irritated that all we got was standard shiny looking action movie 10011001. Then again, it is a Disney movie. They don't exactly do cerebral.

OT: Last film I watched was True Grit. I would thoroughly recommend it. Is it better than the original? I'm undecided, but edging towards yes.

True Grit and well, no, I wouldn't recommend it. The Coen brothers have done better and here it felt like they had been manacled by the novel's narrative.

On a more upbeat note, I would recommend to go and watch Moon. Man, that blew me away.

Last thing I watched was Road to Perdition.
Enjoyable, I suppose I'd recommend.

Rewatched the A-Team last night. I'd recommend it to the point of minor physical and emotional violence until you had. Especially if you like wacky, outrageous, destructive mayhem. And fun. Exceedingly fun.

Last movie that I watched was Serenity and hell fucking yes I recommend it and I recommend you buy 4 copies for everyone you know so we can get a proper continuation of the series.
Never gonna happen, would you browncoat fanatics please stop beating a horse that is good and rightfully dead?

OT: Black Swan, and it was AMAZING
Aww no harm in trying to support a series that you love.
It got canceled what? Almost a decade ago? Just let it lie
I'm riding that train too. They were good, but it's been almost a decade since. Let it stay as it is, and let the Crew of the Serenity lie.

I was interested in watching this series after hearing about it from MovieBob and finding out that my older brother would watch it on late nights when the family was asleep when we were younger.

If I really want to watch it, I am stuck watching web clips or spending a nice sum of cash to find a (vhs?) set which I hear is pretty rare.

The last film I saw was either Scott Pilgrim, or Inglourious Basterds. So yes, I would most certainly recommend both. Seen SP twice, and IB three times.

Shawshank Redemption?
yeah
if you like anything ever
you'll like this
Considering how awful white rap usually is, and how bad comedy songs can be also... I'm amazed how well this works!

I'd have to say 'Paul' was bloody wonderful, perhaps even surpassing 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Hot Fuzz' for pure comedy.

I just finished Session 9 about an hour ago. It was...interesting, to say the least. I'm still debating with myself on whether or not I actually liked it.

Eh, what the hell. Sure, I'd recommend it. It's a little slow though.
