Some of the time. Not much, just a few hours playing a bad game, or when I really should have been doing something else.

I'm fine with my chosen hobby, in fact sometimes I wish I could play more.

I wish that I had something better to do. That much is true. that being said, I don't have anything better to do. So is my time wasted? No. So therefore I will not regret it.

I regret the five minutes I spent playing Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. That's about all, though. Games aren't simply an addictive waste of time to me. They're a passion. I also write, read, and bike, and I don't regret a one of those, either. I got enjoyment out of those hours when I had nothing else to do, and I've made friends and discoveries about myself through all of it. Does that sound like a waste of my time?

I guess it would depend on if I were to have known what I would have done with the time otherwise. If I could go back in time, would I have seen myself writing a Pulitzer Prize winning novel or accidentally finding a cure for the common cold? Yeah, then I would regret the time I've played video games. Otherwise, if I were to just have watched TV, learned how to play an instrument, or painted Warhammer 40k figs, no, I wouldn't regret it.

Now, there are games that I regret spending so much time playing, usually MMOs. But I look at that as not a real waste of time if I had fun while playing, even though there was not clear cut ending.

There are a lot of things I regret, playing video games is not one of them. I've wasted so much time just simply wasting it because of depression and anxiety, the time spent playing video games pales in comparison. And I enjoyed the time I spent gaming...
