nope usualy play a demo of it or get it because the game concept looks good and fun so far it has yet to fail me sometimes I will buy an old game that looks good and buy it and usualy it is good!

Yeah I don't feel the need anymore to run out and buy the newest game just because everyone else has. And with other things in life I have less money to spend on games. That new game can wait until im ready, i'll get it from gf and sit down and play I'll decide if it's worth my money or not.

I research the game from the ground up, I haven't been dissatisfied from a purchase, except with Two Worlds... I just went with my gut on that one; I didn't even try the demo. Worst purchase ever.

Edit: I hardly buy new games when they come out. This year is going to be one of the first that I do because of Dragon Age: Origins and Assassin's Creed 2.

No. There is no rental store in this town. The one an hour away has a few games, most of them bad. And before you say anything about biased opinions, Coraline the game, transformers the game, and elebits. Elebits is fun for some people, but not for me.

I won't buy a PC game without a demo first, to be absolutely positive I can run it. The one time I didn't I got screwed pretty hard...

Otherwise, no. I can usually tell if a game is good or not.
