I do it all the time as well. In fact, I've scrapped this very post.

Well, this is awkward <.<

That would be a resounding yes. I will type something... notice its going on page 5 and go, oh fuck it someone has already said this and most people won't read this far anyways.

Or I will be... oh fuck it I'm drunk and this probably doesn't make sense.

Or I will be... oh fuck it I'm to lazy to finish

Or I will be... well I think you get the point, I delete probably 90% of my posts.

Not very often but I do. It is usually when I realize I have nothing to say and I am just rehashing what everyone else has said.

Quite a lot actually, that's why my post count is relatively low considering I've been on this site for over two years now (including lurking time).
It's not that I don't have anything to say, I'm quite opinionated but in many cases my opinion has already been posted several times so I don't see the point.

Yea, a lot. I figure people will not be a intrested in them as I am.
And most of the time they are just plain retarded.

Yes.

I'd have at least a thousand more posts (and dozens of suspensions, maybe even a ban) if not for my post scrapping.

I have a habit of only really reading my posts after I've written it down to realize how dumb it sounds/how much crap I might get for it.

Oh yeah, all the time. But if I didn't, I'd have a lot more posts and a lot more PMs calling me an idiot.

I've frequently written out New Topic posts and then scrapped them out of nerves.

I generally don't scrap replies to threads unless I realise they're stupid, which isn't often.

Quite a lot of the time, usually whenever I think the comment I'm about to post is going to get a lot of flak for it.

Or sometimes it's a case of I start writing a post and then I have no idea how to get my line of thinking onto the box.

I thought I had a good answer to this, but it was a bit woolly so I scrapped it...
[sub]Sorry, I kinda had to do it, to satisfy the voices.[/sub]

OT: A lot, with the prime reasons being: too long winded, too revealing, too sentimental, too aggressive, too irrelevant, having no idea why I thought it was a good idea to type it in the first place.

I do that a lot, mostly because I write something that I'm not certain about (like gaming advice, or a certain obscure strategy) and that I know most other people will take as a guaranteed thing, so I try to make sure I'm 100% right before posting. If I ever post.

Or when I can't get my point across as I'd like.

And sometimes I realise I completely misread the OP and wrote a novel that's completely off topic.

Rarely, but usually when I do they aren't 900000 word epics. I tend to make short to moderately sized posts most of the time.
