My native language is English, I learnt REALLY basic Italian in primary school and I'm currently learning Japanese

As well as English, I ca get by vaguelly in German and French, if I'm allowed to use hand gestures and possibly loud English to fill in the gaps... phrases and bits of other languages like Russian too, but nothing that useful.

Also some Visual Basic, SQL and C/C++.

Korean is my native, English is second, and now almost fluent in Japanese.

I tried studying a handful of languages from high school through college (including Spanish, Russian and Mandarin) but the only one I was able to stick with was Japanese. Other than that I can't speak any foreign languages.

I dare say I've gotten pretty good with Japanese though, I'm hoping to take the level 1 JLPT test this year.

Going to try my hand at Korean next. Incidentally, do any of you know of some good texts to use?
