Do you spend more time gaming or on the Escapist?

I've noticed recently that I've been spending more time on my favorite website than I have playing my beloved video games.

Meanwhile, Dragon Age is constantly whispering in the back of my head 'finish me, Precious, finish meeeee..'

Funny thing is, I came here originally because it's a gaming website.

And having the usual compulsive/addictive gamer type personality I got sucked in and now spend more time here than I do gaming.

It's a chicken-egg type scenario.

Anyone else have this happen?

I'm only on here more because I can't be on the PS3 at work and they frown upon me having steam on the work laptop.

At home the PS3 wins everytime. Although it does tend to be more Escapist than PC gaming at home of late.

Comes and goes for me, in that if I've recently gotten a new game that I'm really hyped to play, then I won't stop playing it until I'm completely spent. However, if I'm all done with my games and I have no real will to play them again, I'll sit by the computer and spend a major part of my time here on the Escapist.
So yeah, it depends on what I have to work with, game-wise.

Yes... I have definately noticed that Avatar a few times!

People don't recognise mine because I keep changing them.

Yes, I'm on here much more than I game. Mainly because I multitask on the computer. I have Facebook open, the Escapist, a comic, and my homework out.

You can't do that while gaming.

I don't know, don't game very much and, despite near 1000 posts, don't really do too much on here for longs periods of time. I don't really do either too much.

Overall, I've spent way more time gaming.
Currently, I'm spending a lot more time watching online videos and stuff. After finishing Mass Effect and Dragon Age I've needed a bit of a break.

My boss won't let me play video games at work (the bastard) so I'm on this site a lot during the day. When I'm at home in the evening, I don't spend a lot of time here I'm usually playing games or busy doing other things.

Huh... that's interesting. Must try that. I have only ever written two reviews, Bully and the new Slayer album. You gave me some nice technical tips.
