No I dont stare I usually have little interest in others or events however if im tired and have had a fair bit to drink I tend to zone out and go glassy eyed (sure most people do) usually its ok but a few times it has got me in trouble and/or a highly embarrassing situation because it looks like im staring at some guys arse or girls tits and it just gets awkward because if I object and say I wasnt it sounds pathetic and if I admit to it I sound weird whereas in actual fact yeah I might have been staring but I have no memory of anything over the last 10 seconds or however long it was, damn alcohol.

Actually I'm really conscious of how long I'm looking at someone, for some reason. I make sure I don't prolong the look for any amount of time I'd class as staring.
I try to keep an eye on everything when I'm out. I like to be aware. So I don't really have time to stare. Heh, I'm a poet and I didn't even know it.
Alot of people when driving by in cars of buses love to star at you as their driving by, I find that pretty annoying, though I do it as well. I think it must be something to do with trying to look strong or cool.....
Though usually when I'm out, some people like to give me what I call, the stand off stare, in which they'll stare at you with a look of contempt and dislike untill you notice them staring, then they'll stare at you until you look away again.
I always stare them down, because I know it really grinds their gears. But I never star doing it to anyone, only if they start it.
If people give me a iffy glare I'll look back at them until they stop, I think its more so a "got a problem thing" I have built into my mind.
Other then that I don't oogle good looking women, but I do take a sneaky glance and if they notice depending on their body language I might let then know I'm checking them out.

I can't stare at people in person, I turn red and look down any time I see somebody attractive. On webcam, though, when I can pretend to be looking intently at my computer screen while actually observing whoever I'm talking to, I'm awful for it. This leads me to believe that it's more about manners than anything else.
