Dammit, just when I stopped yammering on about my old systems, this comes along, so, let's give a go one more time, shall we?
I only have one game for my Super Nintendo, Link to the Past, which I find funny because as much as I try to like Zelda games, I just can't. That, and I have a Game Genie too. Ahh, Game Genie. Good times.
My Genesis, that's the one I actually care about. There, I have Vectorman, Earthworm Jim, and Sonic 2/3/& Knuckles, all of which I still play today. I have others I can't find (Namco Museum, Sonic 1/2/Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine on one cartridge, Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic Spinball), but I really don't care. The best ones are the ones I can find.
The NES and Atari 7800 are long since dead, but with the prevalence of emulators (legal if you have the original games), I can still enjoy Super Mario Bros 3, Ninja Gaiden, Guardian Legend, Bionic Commando, 8 Eyes (complete Castlevania ripoff), Battletoads, Nintendo World Cup Soccer (40 goals in the first half? Hell, yes.), Willow (ahh, Willow), Startropics 1 & 2, Rampart, and... I can't think of any good 7800 games.
However, the Atari 2600 is still alive and kicking (NO "STILL ALIVE" JOKES!), and I defy anyone to take me on in Warlords or Surround. If you feel like challenging yourself, try Kaboom! or Adventure. Go ahead, try Adventure: find the invisible dot, take it to the invisible hole in the wall, and see the credits. No fair using a map.
I find it kind of funny that my most recent systems mentioned are 16 bit and some people are lamenting on how much they enjoyed playing their Xbox/PS2/Gamecube as if it were ages ago.
