Exactly and exactly. Smoking cigarettes usually makes at least a small break pretty much every hour for me. Why wouldn't you count those, sort of mandatory, breaks into this? There's always a good chance to end up doing something totally different from gaming during these bathroom/eating/smoking breaks. So the 5-15 minute break just usually happens without even thinking about it. Sometimes when really immersed to a game I can go for three-four hours without doing nothing else.

I take breaks by going on my computer. Technically, that doesn't really count.

Yeah, I take 5-15 min. breaks every 3-4 hours. In those breaks I also do some exercises and relax my body. I find this tends to help my gaming performance. I also give my 360 an hour long break (unplug and ventilated near a window) every 40 hours of play.

If i take a break from gaming, its often to play another game, or go on my computer. My eyes have not fallen out yet, so i guess thats good.

I was just playing a round of Uncharted 2 with some of the most annoying fucking players (I.e. Children) I have ever encountered.

So I'm now here, cruising the web and chattin' it up.

I hate little kids talking online, especially when they get hyper and start screaming.

These were a different brand, however, ones I like to dub as "The observatory kid."

While still annoying as hell, they possess ADHD to add to it, so they observe practically everything you do and feel the need to comment upon it.

sometimes, I play for about hour then take a break. but if I'm in tough spot then I'll play for little longer...

i take a break if my eyes start to sting or my vision gets blurry my eyes are screwed up as it is

depends how good the game is, if its a brilliant game like F.E.A.R or something i find that i cant break till im finished with the game online gaming like TF2 or CSS i try to take it in 2 hour intervals and spend like 10 mins getting a cig a drink and going to the bathroom, but not usualy much longer than 10 mins

I don't take breaks at all when gaming. When I start gaming I usually don't stop unless a minimum of 4 hours have passed unless I have something to get to and I'm playing a round or two of Tetris to pass the time. But the quality of my eyes has declined because of it; I was 20/20 when I was 7 years old. Now my left eye has 14/20 vision and my right eye is 15/20 and I am illegal to drive without glasses.

If I need to pee or go eat or something I take a break, but beyond that, I'm gaming! Sitting comfortably in a chair with a well-positioned keyboard and mouse to reduce wrist strain...where's the problem?

Depends on the game with some games i get eye strain so i take breaks depending on when it sets in games like MW" multi player usually 15 mins every hour and a half but games like Aion make my eyes ( or rather my right eye) hurt within half an hour of play
