I don't take breaks because I usually don't realize just how much time is passing. A few years ago, though, I played Frequency like a maniac, and I HAD to take breaks with that game. The swirling video-infested tunnel is a flaming epileptic carnival on crack. I would see swirling rainbow tunnels if I shut my eyes, so I had a choice: a) don't blink, or b) take breaks every three songs or so.

Only when I'm at my friend's place. There is no smoking in his house. But to be fair, I don't game at all unless I have a game I haven't beat. We'll see how long I'm playing when I get the GOTY edition of Fallout 3 for Christmas.

I stop to read a few pages of my book (I love books) every few hours so I take often breaks from gaming.

I was just playing a round of Uncharted 2 with some of the most annoying fucking players (I.e. Children) I have ever encountered.

So I'm now here, cruising the web and chattin' it up.

I hate little kids talking online, especially when they get hyper and start screaming.

These were a different brand, however, ones I like to dub as "The observatory kid."

While still annoying as hell, they possess ADHD to add to it, so they observe practically everything you do and feel the need to comment upon it.

Yeah, for some reason I always picture that kid as fat, wearing glasses, curly brown hair & smelling of cat.

Hell yeah. I have too or else I have major back pain and I get bored of gaming after a bit and just want to do something else. Like go on here, watch some videos and so on.

I believe a fundamental part of gaming is knowing when to stop and step back

a exception is when your on a designated marathon but otherwise you must put down the controller/mouse/wiimote/other gaming stuff and breath fresh air, helps you think about it and maybe get around parts that your stuck on
