Hah. You think that's crazy.

I have like 2 voices that talk in my head. One is mischevious, cynical, snarky, sarcastic, offensive, crazy and just plain insane. The other is like the opposite and they actually answer each other and have conversations. They're both me but if I ask a quesiton in my head the other (who I wasn't asking as) answers like a normal conversation. It's soo weird.

I also seem to act like either of these 2 voices at any given time. As well as bits inbetween...
Disaster Button, that's exactly how I'm wired as well. One voice is my misanthropic, cynical, detached devil-may-care voice that thinks of life as a big ridiculous joke. The other is my more empathetic, romantic, and somewhat naive human half that wishes the world were a nicer place. Usually when I'm depressed I'll go for long walks, and after a while the two of them will surface and I'll start having a one-man dialogue. I've taken to calling them Ryxis and Milo.

I do entire role-plays in my head and speak all the time when I'm alone, Mostly to keep myself from beating the living shit out of everyone I see. It usually works.

Yeah, quite a bit, almost thinking out loud.

I find if I am trying to compose a response or thinking something through it can help actually saying it (quietly, under my breath) rather than just thinking it. Hearing the idea out loud it is a lot easier to see if it sounds at all good or even makes grammatical sense.

I saying I heard and oft repeat is "there is nothing wrong with talking to yourself, only worry if someone answers back!"

Usually only if I'm practicing/imitating a particular voice. Otherwise, aside from random swearing whenever my neck hurts, I tend to keep my conversations inside my head.

Yeah, I talk to myself a lot. It's usually just me thinking out loud, but I have been known to have whole conversations with myself. Sometimes someone will have to snap me out of it so I'll stop.

Yep, I do it. Usually in my head, though. The only two times I can think of that I talk outloud often is when I'm driving (with or without people with me) and when I'm playing games (again, with or without people).

Also talk to objects sometimes.

Do you ever talk to yourself? Cause I do!...well I don't have full blown conversations with myself like I don't talk to voices that aren't there or hear voices that aren't there but I do talk to myself occasionally. For example I might practise by myself explaining something to a friend alone. Or I might commentate on my game play or shout along with the guy on screen to make my heroic charge seem more fun when I get slaughtered charging down the hill in LOTR BFME 2 or cut to pieces as I make my last heroic stand in DoW DC. I sometimes comment on something I do e.g. walk up the stairs realise I didn't mean to and then say as I remember where I was going "no I am going to (X)" to myself. Do you do the same/similar thing? and if so do you recon we are mad or normal?
Yes, I do this too. People think I'm crazy, but it helps me clarify my thoughts. Like I'm narrating my own life or something.

Now the question, do you answer yourself?
No... I'm so rude to myself...

Although, periodically I'll hold conversations of characters I write in my head, it flows more naturally that way and I don't lose touch with who they are, but that's about it.

Everyone does it at some point. There's only a problem if you say things that you don't think. Like "go kill the president BernthalBob", which would be quite odd, because I'm English.

What an offbeat and wacky chap you are. It's random to be different.
Don't worry, most people have a running monologue going a lot of the time.

I ask rhetorical questions quite a lot, does that count?
Nothing deep and meaningful, like "Is man nothing more than what he desires to be?".
I'm more along the lines of "What the hell was that? Do you often throw grenades at your own team?!".

Most often when I'm alone, and loads more in my head, but still.
I recall someone asking the question: "How come talking out loud to oneself is seen as insanity in our days when it was seen as a sign of great wisdom back in the days."
