not sure. the climbing mechanic is the same but that was really the only good part of the first game and im concerned that even though there is more variety in missions etc it wont be hugely better as the combat still comes down to press a counter button to kill ur opponents. im def going to see reviews before i buy it. besides L4D2 is out at practicly the same time (sorry for ausies) so i wont hugely care at that moment.

I liked AC1, and seeing how they will most likely improve the things I liked about it and fix things I didn't like...

Time will tell.

No, because Ubisoft fucks up most things.
You mean like all those Splinter Cells, Raymans, Prince of Persias, Tom Clancy's games and Beyond Good and Evil?
Oh dear God... *sniff* Rayman... my poor, poor Rayman... how I miss you...

Somewhat. I think Ubisoft would be idiots to repeat the mistakes of the 1st game. If they can fix the flaws while retaining the greatness of the 1st game that then maybe Assassin's Creed 2 will be what Assassin's Creed tried but failed to be. Still, props for the game's setting.

Looks good. I loved the first one.

And since AC is already taken by Armoured core, I declare Assassin's creed's (Wow, those apostrophes look wrong) shortened name to be Ass Cred.

Oh yeah.

Meh, I hear for the AC3 that you will be playing an ancestor named Horatio, who took assignments directly from General George Washington to assassinate high profile British targets. Benjamin Franklin makes gadgets for you, such as an experimental set of modular bifocal glasses that allow you to view the world through many different spectrums (a la Predator). Free Masons FTW!!! Now this may not make it into the final build, but I've seen leaked footage of a lightning gun that Franklin also makes for you...

Seriously, this series shits all over history... Aside from that, though, I'm sure the gameplay will be a blast!
