Do you think Capcom will pay attention to this?

I'm sure you're all aware of the outrage relating to Mega Man Legends 3 getting cancelled last year. Some petition were launched and such, but few of them managed to garner more than 20,000 or so signs if I recall correctly. So, for those who don't know already, this [http://www.facebook.com/GetMeOffTheMoon/] page finally reached its goal of 100,000 likes on Facebook. Nothing extraordinarily, but it's definitely a significant accomplishment. I could mention that other series that warranted a recent sequel have significantly fewer likes, but those pages weren't actively rallying fans to like their page, either. After a few people inevitably shove this page in Capcom's proverbial face, do you feel this might sway Capcom into revitalizing the project? Do you think Capcom will continue to give MML fans the cold shoulder? If so, what do you think would be necessary for a revival of sorts?

I'm somewhat hopeful, but mostly skeptical.

Come now, I think you're being a bit harsh. The 25th anniversary is coming up real soon here. I doubt Capcom is just going to ignore it. Also, this is an English based page. I wouldn't doubt if Capcom wasn't aware that it had so many likes. Some Capcom employee certainly knows, but the Execs at Capcom (the ones who make all the decisions) are notorious for their poor communication at times.

Yeah, I gotta say I doubt Capcom has any intention of making games staring the Blue Bomber any time soon. They're too busy making crappy fighting games with half the roster locked away as on-disc DLC.

What would it take to get them to revitalize the project? By enough shares of Capcom (if it's publicly traded) to become a majority share holder and tell them what games you want them to make. :p

Capcom doesn't listen to its fans anymore; it simply trolls them. They've proven that much to me already.

:p Like with the fat, middle-aged, likely-divorced Mega Man that showed up in a fighting game recently?

Crap I was too late. I just posted my own topic on this since I didn't see yours. Well I got to go get rid of mine then.
OT: I joined the devroom a long time ago but I'm not really fans of how they got their later likes. From them spamming everywhere to the anime page posting erotic pictures and saying like the 100,000 page I highly doubt all of those likes are even a sale. I do hope that if Capcom makes this game then all of them will actually buy it so they don't decide to just shelve megaman forever.

As hilarious as I found his inclusion, it is depressing that I'm not going to see any more actual Megaman games solely because Capcom cannot pull their arrogant heads out of their ass.

Capcom are idiots. Not bad people. This has been established by many people. they are not doing this to piss people off. I mean if they were smart X9 would be out and Megaman would be strong plus the resident Evil and Street Fighter series would be VERY different.

Resident Evil would still have zombies and unique keys while in Street Fighter Ryu/Ken/Sagat/Dan wouldn't all play the same way.

*Sighs*

Please don't bring this up again, this changes nothing. Capcom has been trying to bury Megaman ever since Inafune left

I just want to move on and forget the outrage and disappointment I felt when I heard the game was axed due to a 'lack of fan support'. If that's all it took to get a budding game killed, DmC wouldn't even be in production anymore.

I used to love Capcom, I used to love Megaman, and Resident evil, and street fighter, and all those crossover fighters they did... But the magic is gone now. I don't remember the last time I ever cared about a C(r)apcom game being released.

Oh! I did lol at the 600 people thing. I bet it's a communication disaster over at Capcom right now.

Captcha: Foul smelling... Kinda like Capcom these days.

Edit: and for clarificaiton, I'm one of those 100,000 people that are strong for Megaman legends 3... those two games MADE my PS1 era gaming. I just don't see Capcom giving any Megaman incarnation the kind of respect he deserves anymore.

I don't believe Capcom cares, at least not about Megaman.

They really seem to be distancing themselves from the Blue Bomber, and it really seems to be in a mean spirited attempt to spite Inafune.

It'd be neat to see legends 3 but frankly, I don't see it happening. Though I'd rather see a new MMX game. or better still a new MMX RPG like command mission

I doubt that Capcom will give the petition a second glance. Those money grubbers only happen to own my favorite franchise, besides that they can eat a big one.
