I just miss the demos from the 360 era. The first thing I did was download 100GB of demos and load the hard drive. Then I tried out all of them and decided a lot of future purchases based on it.
At this point, the only demos on Xbox One are EA sports, and some lego games. Most others don't have anything to try.
I find it sad because you used to download whole arcade games that just had locks on them and then when you purchased it, they would unlock the rest of the game.
One local retailer is thinking of even getting back to rentals because people want to try before they buy.
I have had a drastic decline in purchasing games as both consoles made it challenging to spend my money wisely.
