Despite it being everything he says he hates in a JRPG(at least he says so)?

I mean I would like to see how he would handle it.

Disgaea 4? DO WANT!

But, why would it be interesting to watch Yahtzee slowly descend into madness, finally culminating in his suicide from having to play a JRPG?

Ahh I thought it was something else
Anyway I would hope he at least gets some emails about it...
What is his email anyway, I mean I hope to suggest it.
Never seen him review a Nippon Ichi game.

I can't believe it won't be out in English for at the very least 3 months...I saw the intro of this game an instantly fell in love, and I've played the other three. I'd like to see him review one, he might like the humour and the characters.

Personally I think he might like how it doesn't really care about graphics and it's unique game style.
It's not everyday you see games that have a max cap of Level 9999 and let you reincarnate and hit 9999 again over and over.
He might like ZHP because you constantly have to go back to lv 1.

Mmm...ZHP. Heard of it, was interested, too lazy to learn Japanese to play it.

Also, I don't know if you'd be the best one to request it of Yahtzee...nothing personal against you, but your name...

Well, you probably already know how he felt about The World Ends With You, yeah, Sho Minamimoto?

(I'm joking, by the way.)

Disgaea... I've never played a game of the series, but it's like a turn-based RPG with RTS elements?

I think Yahtzee may like 'Hyperdimension Neptunia'. It has a very unique premise.

I personally hope not. I'm not into JRPGs and I'm kinda still mad at him for not reviewing Deadly Premonition.

...No. It's turn based strategy, but its very...very over the top. All of NIS's games are. It isn't at all difficult to get to level 2000 and do multiple BILLIONS of damage with a single attack.

USA. If this is true, TV Tropes has lied to me. I feel violated.

A very unique premise, but the gameplay is.. Compile Heart. That is, flawed.

He doesn't seem like the kind of person to play a game for the story alone.

As for Disgaea, it's a classic SRPG; turn-based isometric grid-based combat, with sprite graphics.

I would've thought the English-language trailer was a good hint..

JRPG = Tactics games now?

Neat.

Keep Zero Punctuation away from these, he hasn't the patience for them, nor the desire to try to enjoy them.

I can't recall a time ZP did any of his shows about any tactics games, so why should he start now??
The closest he's ever come was Valkyria Chronicles, which he still called a JRPG.

What I'm wondering is why he simply skipped reviewing Vanquish and other interesting games in favor of reviewing Iphone games and MMOs.

It's very true I have beaten teh main story and I am working on the other ones.
Admittedly the game is fairly difficult due to resetting to level one every-time you beat a dungeon or die.
It's still a good play and has humor.
