Odd question perhaps but i can't stop thinking about it, haven't had chance to ask my real world friends yet so was wondering how y'all felt.

So Escapist are you the same person you were in high school?

Personally i'm still as geeky and shy as i was back then but am way less socially inept and have lots more friends.......and a girlfriend! :D

Yes, I don't think I've changed much....and it scares me, I'm in university now and I can't see my self any different when I have a job and family

I think I am, due to the fact that I'm still in High School. If I was a different person that would be somewhat worrying.

Absolutely. Well, maybe there isn't a big difference between me in late Sixth Form and now, but if I showed you the shy introverted little boy I grew up as you wouldn't make the connection to me. My interests haven't changed much (I'm geeky as ever) but I'm *so* much more outgoing now.

Christ no. I'm not even the same person as when I was 25, let alone as far back as high school.

If we're talking secondary school too then yes.

Collage has changed me a lot for University. Personally looking back on it I think secondary school was like some sort of dire prison like society, just with slightly less rape. Everyone had to be exactly the same, otherwise beats would be exchanged. In contrast, at least on an art coarse, individuality is prized. Secondary school harded me, collage made me more mellow and more excepting of the world. Ultimately I wouldn't change either, they made me who I am.

...Ok, my drunkeness has driven me off coarse. But yeah, I've changed since "High" school.

Fuck no, I'm much more secure person now.
I'm comfortable with who I am, I'm more outgoing, etc...

Basically my personality's kind of similar but I'm a happier person in general.
I never want to go back to puberty, ever.

Don't think so. I am mentaly stronger yet less carefree than I was back then. Thinking about things that surely would change me, but didn't afterwards. Had a bit of a 'know it all' mentalaty and knowing now that I still know nearly nothing at all.

It has been a year since I graduated high school and I would say going to a university has changed me a little from my days in high school. I now don't understand how I survived having 8 straight hours of class every day.

I am definitely more mature than I was in high school, I am also having more fun at a university then I am when I was at high school.

I'm a better person than I was in high school, but fundamentally I'm the same. I'm still confident in myself, still a gamer, still in shape, still a hard worker when I want to be, still lazy when I don't, still willing to go the extra mile for friends.

yes and no

of course some aspects have changed.. FFS i'm 29 next month over a decade has passed i am more mature i have settled on a career in which i take pride and have strong feelings about (teaching) and most importantly i hadn't really got into anime yet

however by then i was still fundamentally the same person i am now a geek living his life to his own pace... although i didn't really find my place till after school as i really hated school life
