I friend people who I recognize after a while. I also friend people who I seem to get along with in games, since it is hard to do that with so many people running around.

No trophies, its just nice to know when people I get along with and compliment are online.

I actually have no friends on the Escapist. I don't have a steam account at all. I really need a Steam account.

On PSN or other websites I will add people I had a good game or an awesome conversation with. Most of my Youtube friends mean nothing to me. I just felt bad if I denied a request.

I friend people who I have talked to a bit or if they just interest me. I also return any friend requests that people send me.

Also I talk to some of them but mostly just in the forum games, although I did have a PM conversation with Asturiel. He's a cool guy.

To answer your final question, yeah I'll befriend you, I don't see any harm in it.
