Hmm tricky. I was married for 10 years before my wife died suddenly. I'm not certain if I would get married again.

Hell yes. I'd hate to be alone for the rest of my life. I thought I was going to eventually marry the last girl I was with but, after a year, things were getting a bit lifeless and fizzled out. I want my wife to be, like in OP, a female clone of me. I want her to be massively into punk music, have loads of tattoos and be really loud and confident. Ahhh, a man can dream

1. No
3. Because I don't see why love has to shown through the exchange of written word and rings of metal. I would love to be in a long, stable and happy relationship, but I don't want to prove how much that other person means to me by spending a metric fuck ton of money on, let's face it, an over glorified party. I know that some people feel that getting married is the ultimate romantic gesture, but the very act of marrying someone changes people. I've seen it first hand. Why potentially ruin a perfectly good relationship?
I'm not trying to stop people from marrying each other, by all means, go ahead. But it's not for me, and those are my reasons.

Just because you don't get married doesn't mean you'll be alone for the rest of your life. It's more than possible to be in a life long relationship without being married to that person.

erm, yes and no, it depends on the type of girl i am with really

some people like the guy above me said, think that marriage is amazing and romantic, if that was the case i would, but if she didnt really see the point in marriage i wouldnt.

i hope that made sense

I don't really see the point, possibly I'm a bit traumatised by my parents divorcing when I was a kid, but I don't really believe in the sanctity of marriage. If I'm in a relationship, I'm dedicated, rings and legal contracts or not.
That being said, my girlfriend whom I believe I'll be spending the rest of my life with is a bit more old-fashioned in respects to that, so at some point I'll probably cave in and marry her just to make her happy :)

Ehh, I don't think so. I hope to find someone who I love, but the whole marriage thing just seems like an unnecessary expense.

Yes, I would like a long-term stable relationship eventually, but that's still a long time off and since I'm not seeing anyone right now I can't really answer the last couple of questions.

I would get married for survival. Lets face it. If my memory serves me well, love didn't pop up on marriage until the late 1600's ish. People need to get married to survive. Two people working at they're own job getting two incomes. Then how ever many children they want/can support. Marriage is for survival. Love is only between the parent and the kid.

1. Yes
2. Maybe since she is adorable as hell
3. Only doubt is if we could last very long since i can't see staying with one person loyally for my whole life or have her stay loyal to me.

Not right now. I don't exactly have any viable candidates at the moment, and even if I did, I'm 19 and in college. Not exactly the optimal time for marriage.

But yeah, it would be nice to get married eventually, and it's more likely than not that it will happen sometime in my life.
