Do you want to see Spider-Man in a Avengers movie?

Not really, I'm not the biggest Spidey fan so I'm quite happy to have him missing from the roster. He does show up in the recent Avengers cartoon as a member of the New Avengers though, not the same as a movie but he's there at least.

I'd rather see someone like Scarlet Witch join up. If I remember correctly she was in the old Avengers cartoon from the beginning and currently the team only has one girl who is really a bit of a token player when it comes to fighting the big bads.

absolutely. i think he is a very fitting character for the Avenger's. also, whether or not people liked the new film, Andrew Garfield did a fantastic job as Peter Parker. it was very true to how the character is supposed to be.

and Joss Whedon would be able to write some great dialogue between Tony and Peter, since Peter has kind of the same personality when he wears the suit.

Well, that's the first I've heard about it. Hopefully it's true!

There are too many characters as is. They did a good job developing everybody, but with only 2 hours in a film it was already stretched. The only reason it really worked was because all the characters had already been developed in their own films, so the audience knew most of them already. Otherwise it would have been a mess.

I'm not sure I'm super invested in there even being another Avengers movie, but if they have one I'd rather see it used as a vehicle to explore characters I don't know as much about.

I don't know. I think the single-character movies are great for that. The Avengers is about 'look, all these cool characters in one place, how on earth will they ever get on?' I think any attempt to do more than that would be a mistake. And personally I'd enjoy having Spidey in *an* Avengers movie, as long as he wasn't a permanent team member.

The most I see him appearing is as a cameo. Maybe the Avengers are hunting down a person but can't find him when suddenly Thor sees him tied to the roof with web and a message saying "You're welcome - Spidey".

That or Sony is going to have to relinquish its grip on him.

That said, I did hear that Sony was considering letting Andrew Garfield play in the MCU as Spider-Man if they could negotiate a deal to keep the movie rights for their own series. Personally I'd rather they find somebody else as I could not make myself like Amazing Spider-Man, but that would be an interesting turn.

Not the current incarnation of Spider-Man; Marvel would have to do one more reboot. Even then, I'd rather see him as an associate of the Avengers rather than a full-on member. Sort of like how they teamed up in the Sinister Six arc in the Ultimate line. Spidey does his own thing and occasionally bumps into the Avengers.

Rather than a reboot, they should just jump in with it as a separate story. Everybody knows Spider-Man's origin, they could easily have him show up during an avengers movie or even just start in the middle like a branched off Spider-Man 2.
