I think my fave would be the witch scene from holy grail. I just love how he helps the villagers through pure logic, to find a way of identifying witches. It makes sense while being pure nonsense.

First Monty Python skit I ever saw, and still my favorite. By the time the third person had chosen a very obvious piece of cover, I realized I had discovered brilliance.

Funniest Joke in the world Sketch all the way, with the Lumberjack Song and Albrecht Durur sktech (for German TV episode only, only hard core fans need bother to find) are certainly up there. Other good ones are the parrot sketch, the Bavarian Restaurant sketch, the police fairies sketch, and the Sir Robin segment of Holy Grail.
