I don't watch it as much as I used to, but I often flick through channels when I'm bored (like the news) or get specific programs (mostly comedy or documentaries) on catchup.
We also often sit down as a family to watch TV in the evenings (Dr. Who!).
Oh, and I also like cartoons, from MLP to Futurama and the Simpsons.

I watch the ESPN channels and NFL Network while doing something else. (cleaning, cooking, excercising)

If a decent cartoon comes on (Batman, Bugs Bunny, MLP, Avatar, etc) i'll watch it if i've got nothing else going on.

Aside from the sports channels the only channels I consistently tune into would be History and History International when something about war or ancient civilizations comes on.

edit: I saw all the episodes of the first season of Spartacus a week or so after they first came on, and I used to watch The Dresden Files and Blade the Series religiously.

Well I have digital cable downstairs, but that would mean I need to go down there and interact with people.. that sounded very strange.
Anyway, even if I do attempt to watch tv, American Idol or Jersey Whore is on.. not only on, but recording.

Sometimes I wonder why I even waste my time here.

I tend not to be around when I want to watch something and with streaming services much better and more convenient it's easier to watch online.
I only watch a couple of series these days anyway, mostly comedy or drama programs. Although when there is something on TV that I really want to watch, I tend to make it an event, grab some food and beers etc, so it feels a bit special.

Not big on TV at all.
Commercials annoy me to no end.
I watch a couple of TV shows on DVD though.

Nope.

I grew up without it. Didn't have access to a TV until I was 14. When I finally did get one I watched it regularly for a couple of years. But then it slowly became apparent what utter crap it all is. So I stopped watching everything except the news and a couple of comedies.

Now I don't watch it at all. It's just too stupid.

I watch bbc for the news and every now and then skymovies (I barely go to the cinema anymore so this is my main non net way of watching films).
Sometimes friends make me watch crappy shows like Paris Hilton BFF or Geordie Shore so we can have a laugh at it, but otherwise, I have the net so if I need to watch anything I watch it there.

Tbh never really been much of a tv fanatic, even when the net was in its infancy.

Yep, just not as often as I did a couple years back. Mostly due to my discovery of LPs :p

Blue Bloods
Castle
The Glades
Burn Notice
Attack of the Show
Kitchen Nightmares(so funny how much the people fail)
Justified
Eureka
Top Gear
There would be more hear except they keep cancelling all the shows I like

I do also buy shows on DVD. Escpecially shows they don't air anymore(or often) like: The Adventures of Brisco County Jr., MST3K, Life, Shootout!, and Dogfights.

I would have said "Just HNIC", but CBC streams it so not even that anymore. I haven't watched a TV show on a television I own since 2008.

Rarely. I watch most stuff online.

If I'm in I usually check Film 4 to see if anything's on but other than that, I don't sit down in front of the actual TV to watch TV shows.

I rarely watch television due to lack of anything actually catching my interest. I can't really stand sitcoms, with very very few exceptions (Burn Notice.)

Usually if I have television on I either have it on Discovery channel, History channel, National Geographic, or some shows on Adult Swim.

I usually more often then not have music playing when I'm laying down instead of having the television on and I get my Doctor Who fix via the interwebs.

I don't own a TV. Occasionally I'll catch up with the two or three programmes I actually watch on the BBC via their website, but apart from that I get by without.

Almost never use my television. My computer and xbox are both connected to my monitor. Theres hardly ever anything on worth watching. I don't have a wealth of channels. The few shows I would watch on a weekly basis I'd watch online due to them usually being out in the states long before they make it over here.

It's funny actually, since I've come to England to study everyone is telling me the resurgence of American television. I don't watch much anymore though, just find in the time it takes me to watch a few hours of shit television I could be watching a much more fulfilling movie.

That said, are we counting HBO? Because HBO is winsauce.

I have a small selection of shows that I watch...

Futurama
Family Guy
American Dad
Everybody Loves Raymond
Seinfeld
According to Jim
The Office
The Amazing Race
Jon Stewart
Colbert Report
Nightline

I can't really stand anything else. Most TV shows these days seem to try to get a laugh out of us every 5 seconds. Everything is a clever, witty, hip joke... there's hardly a story anymore. The Office is going down that road, sadly. I only keep up with it nowadays because I've grown attached to the characters over the years, but it will never be as great as it was in Seasons 2-4.

I used to watch Lost religiously. I don't think I'll ever find a TV series as awesome to me as Lost.

The Amazing Race is the only reality television show I can enjoy, and I enjoy it a lot. I can't watch The Real World, that shit makes me want to deep-fry my head. I occasionally watch The Challenge with my brother. It's not too bad, because they're actually doing fun challenges and it's interesting to see how two friends or polar-opposite people interact when they're in the battlefield (either against each other or in alliance).

I guess I watch a medium amount of TV. I watch a lot of anime on my computer. I try to look for a high quality series to watch, so that means most of the shows I watch are 12-26 episodes long. I used to keep up with Bleach, but not so much anymore because it's kind of going in circles, but I think I'll give it a second shot some day. I don't watch Naruto, Inuyasha, or any of that crap. My favorite anime series is Clannad. If you love anime, give it a shot.

Used to watch quite a bit of TV as a kid, but now, I literally never sit down to watch it. If someone else in my family is watching something I might catch a bit of it, but I don't watch TV. To the extent that EVERY ad I see, if I do ever catch an ad break, is entirely new to me. I think that's a sign of very little television watching!
