Finally, canon confirmation that a Time Lord CAN regenerate between male and female forms!
Wait, what!? When did that happen?

Right at the start, when the Doctor's telling Amy and Rory that there is a living Time Lord out there. When he's describing the tattoo of the The Corsair, the Doctor says that all his or her regenerations had the tattoo.

Huh, I don't know how to react to that.

As much as don't like the new Doctor Who generally, this was one of the few that actually stood up. There was a few painful bits (for example, "the only water in the forest is in the arc story so this won't make sense for 2 months and will be godawful when it comes up...ok, you can go back to the story now"), but generally pretty good.

Yeah, the Doctor can regenerate into a female, have sex with a male regeneration and breed a new race of Timelords. Gah...

The only thing that pissed me off is the fact we don't learn enough about THE HOUSE, a villain who has killed hundreds of time lords should be given a bit more background.

I wonder if it would be possible for a Timelord to store sperm from their male regeneration and then impregnate themselves when they regenerate into a female.

...what?

Presumably, yeah.

Hell, they keep their clothes and so on when they regenerate, they might accidently impregnate themselves by not changing their undies when they do it.

Seems like they're starting to develop and grow the doctor what with him moving from being quite pacifistic and diplomatic to ordering the deaths of House and countless silence, but don't get me wrong, such an iconic character growing is great.
I think with House he was quite justified what with the whole trapping and killing timelords thing! As for the silence, there is something more going on there, we will find out soon!

What was the bit about a timelord regenerating as male or female? I don't remember that! Also I'm really struggling to keep up with all the different storylines going through this series (and all the others)!

stronger than last weeks, but it would of been better as a 2 parter.

Actually on that note, is it just me who wants the show to return to a serial format?

The Rebel Flesh returned to the serial format. It's nice to have a little off, but that was a little too much. Glad its back to normal now! :D
