You know... as much as I hate the Nintendo Wii... if this game actually turns out to be good, I might consider getting the damn system.
Yeah, it's pretty cool. I have a Wii so I will keep watch on this, I just hope it covers all the Doctors as well as the new ones, I'd love to play as the 5th Doctor.doctorwhofan said:Everyone who is a Who fan has flocked to this thread. I am so geeked out!
So it needs to look like an anime? I have so many issues with that video that I'm unable to list them, suffice to say, Doctor Who is a British show and if they do anything to change that it'd be as successful as what FOX tried back with the 8th Doctor.TsunamiWombat said:Dr. Who isn't known for his Kung Fu Skills? He kicked the crap out of people all the time when he was an old man.

Needs to resemble this for win.
If you post a video of THAT then yes, I will.JinxyKatte said:Can you post a video if you end up doing that??Woodsey said:If this turns out good I'll eat my own face.
OT if this turns out to be a good game (it wont be) ill rip off my own arm and beat my self to death with it constantly shouting time and relative dimension in space.
I know, this is kinda unfair, but I completely agree.KillerMidget said:Why choose Wii/DS of all platforms?
Everytime I hear "Wii/DS" the game is instantly turned into a lesson in mediocrity.
Not all 360 or PS3 gamers desire crap to blow up every 3 seconds. Hell, I can play games without explosions, I did do a ton of walking on Oblivion. Admittedly many games of the 360/PS3 have explosions, (including most of mine,) but I don't think Wii is any better of a console for Doctor's adventures than those two.Daveman said:Well, I think it definitely belongs on the Wii/DS. Considering the core demographic of Xbox/PS3 users are fools who think that if somebody doesn't blow shit up every 3 seconds they're not a proper hero. Sadly I know these people exist because they're my friends. They're also the same people who said Wikus in District 9 "had no balls" and "therefore [District 9] sucked". I had to slap them repeatedly. They also said Doctor Who is gay.
That's the opinion of everyone I know with an Xbox or a PS3, however me and my Wii/DS owning buddies LOVE Doctor Who.
Really super technical? You can travel from the controls to the door. Through the TARDIS. That would get you to the destination.TimeLord said:Technically yes, but the acronym TARDIS and the content of the topic suggests the actual TARDIS machine is begin referred to, thus you can't walk "through" a TARDIS.messy said:Although it means time and relative dimensions in space correct?TimeLord said:I knew I kept my Wii for something important! I would have preferred a PS3 Doctor Who game but beggars can't be choosers.
Is this a bad time to point out that the Doctor can't travel "through" the TARDIS to get somewhere, he must travel "in" the TARDIS to get somewhere...
Sorry to correct the title of this thread but it's true![]()
Therefore he would move through time and relative dimensions in space to reach the wii surely, just by walking along you technically do that.
The very definition of the word "through" means you have to enter something then exit it at different points. If you walk into your house, then back out the same door again, you aren't going "through" it. If you go in one door, and out a different door in your house then you went "through" the house to the other side.BSUVincent said:Really super technical? You can travel from the controls to the door.
