Does anybody else do this?

I'm terrible at that. I always look around at used stores so when I see a game I want I have to buy it then because I'm not sure it will be there when I come back. Not to mention my favorite genre at JRPGs and I take my time when I play games so it takes my like 60 hours to complete a game.

I don't. I only buy games that I will play.

That way I don't waste any cash.

No not at all. If im gonna buy a game it'll be one I play ALOT like twenty hours at the least. Steam deals are great but I have a very selective mind when it comes to games.

I do the EXACT same thing, only with films instead of games.
I have about 180 films waiting to be watched as it is right now.
I do watch 'em, but they keep piling up faster than I actually watch 'em. And the funny bit is that I'm fairly certain I'd like most(97% or so) of 'em.
As for games, I don't do that often, though it's been known to happen.

I do that as well, somehow i keep gettign stuck playing online multiplayer, and i currently have, amongst others, bioshock and portal lying unplayed. GOW3 as well, but that one is excused, as i'm playing through the series with a friend, and we haven't had time yet, and we're only in the 2'nd game.

I've got a dozen titles, at least, from the Steam sale at the end of last year that I haven't touched yet, but I've always been bad for this. It's an evil combination of disposable income and my habit of replaying old games.

Yeah, I could try out this new FPS... but oh wait... haven't played DOOM for a while...

I do the same thing, just on the PSN. I have downloaded, but haven't even started:

Wipeout HD, Outland, Beyond Good and Evil, Dead Nation, Final Fantasy VII, Parasite Eve, and one other one I can't remember right now. I stopped everything I was doing when I got Deus Ex a few days ago.

No, I play all I buy, usually within a couple of days. Now, finish said games is another thing altogether.

I have that problem, but recently I've cancelled all my MMO subscriptions and started trudging through my huge backlog of games. I've managed to knock out like 3 games in the last 2 weeks.

I buy games which I think I will play, but then rarely do.

My biggest problem is DLC. Almost all the DLC I buy I never play at all. Either because I don't play the game, or I just don't get round to playing the DLC in the game I am playing.

All 4 Borderlands DLC I haven't played yet. All 3 Fallout: New Vegas DLC (probably soon to be 4), and I have only partly made use of the Metro 2033 DLC. I also bought Civ 5 DLC, even though I know damn well I will never play as Korea.

I don't know why I do it, I just do...

I do that consistently. I have about 160+ on my Steam and an untold amount on my consoles and haven't played at least...25-50% of them. I just don't have the time.

Yep same here.

A like JRPGs and when I see them cheap on eBay I have to get them otherwise who knows when it might be cheap again? lol It's annoying how rare some of them have become.
Same with Steam sales, I have a number of games sitting there that I still haven't played through.
