But yeah, I have a similar effect in my dreams. I'll be doing something, and then there's a screen dissolve and I'm seeing a bunch of other people talking/doing something NOT where I am. Then my brain's like "Wait a minute ... Real life doesn't have CUTSCENES!!!" and then I wake up.

I usually dream in third person.

By which I mean I see through everyone's eyes.

Don't you apes even try comprehending that.
What that does to humans is bad enough, I don't need to know what it does to you ugly sh*ts.

So I was reading up on lucid dreaming and how to do it (Because why the hell not?) And I saw that most of the things are to do with what I am doing in my dreams.
Problem. I am never in my dreams. It's like I've walked into a cinema halfway through a random movie when I go to sleep. I rarely know who the actors are, or what is going on. And I don't mean I'm seeing through the eyes of another person or anything, I mean exactly what you would see in a cinema, except I can't see anything except the screen.
And then if I wake up and don't want to get out of bed, I can just fall asleep again and continue watching.

So my question is this, and I hate to ask but I can't think of another way to phrase it: Am I the only one?
This actually happens to me quite a bit. Glad to hear I'm not the only one, it's a weird feeling. Another thing that happens to me on occasion is having a dream in which I am aware it is a dream, and referencing something which happened in a previous dream in the same location, sort of a persistent dreamscape.
Also I had very very vivid dreams when I was on my anti-malaria meds whilst over in Afghanistan, lucky for me they were usually sex dreams as opposed to most people's nightmares. Priorities I guess.

i tried lucid dreaming and couldn't kick it off and gave up, 4 nights later it happened and it was the hardest to control thing i have ever tried. i tripped and fell which felt like a freight train hit me and then when i hit the ground i was on a beach , i was thinking how white the sand was next thing im in the snow. i linked snow with wolves because i like wolves and i was being dragged backwards by my legs. i started to panic and everything became louder with my heartbeat. its much longer than this but i cba ...
