We watched the final 3 episodes of Season 3 last night, just to get ready. It was better than I remember and I'm looking forward to it. If you haven't seen it at all, rent the 1st Season. It's good entertainment in these dark TV times.

I'm not big on it, but I watch it anyway because I like the directing and I delight in foreshadowing.

I stopped watching in my on and off manner early on in season 2 when it was clear that the show was going nowhere.

Boring as shit. Stupid as shit. And if the writers of the show were going for entertainment and realism, all the cast would have eaten each other by now and thus would have only lasted one season tops.

The only good thing I can say about it is that the title, 'Lost', fits it rather well with the show going around in circles as much as an LSD junkies' head when riding on a merry-go-round run by 'Need for Speed' fanatics. Or it could be an indication of where the writer's intellect and dignity have gone. Frankly I don't give two peanut-encrusted shits. (and upon reflection, I could have just typed the last sentence and you wouldn't have to do all this reading)

On the other hand, BRING BACK FIREFLY! That was a show with a huge potential up it's Chuck Norris-sized godly sleeves of roundhouse kicking awesomeness. Two by two, hands of blue.

Don't watch it. Wasn't there Polar Bears on the island at one point?

I hope they all die on that island.

seriously.. like.. after the second season you could tell they were running out of ideas - I HATE IT WHEN SERIES DRAG ON TOO LONG. i would much rather enjor ONE season of mind blowing action then FIVE seasons of decadence into UTTER PURE HATRED! i would seriously bring a yacht to that island and just kill them all! THATS HOW MUCH I WANT IT TO END ALREADY...

and no i am not a psycho path who does whatever comes into his mind, so you dont have to worry you LOST fanatics... no pun intended...

I care, I want to see what happens. I like how they're twisting the flash backs and adding flash forwards.

I never got into it. Kinda annoys me now. I'm more of a Jericho/Battlestar Galactica person.

The point of the show is mystery. So you either enjoy it unrealistic events, not really knowing the bigger picture or it pisses you off.
Me, I love it. Great entertainment. Can't wait till I can watch it online (since I live in the UK and don't have Sky).

The ABC website won't let Canadians watch the episodes online. Do you know where I can see the last episode of season 3? I missed it on tv, and now I'm going to watch the new season with some friends, and I'm a little behind.

Definitely! I've been a big Lost fan since the first season. It slowed down for a while, but the last few episodes of season 3 brought the show back with a vengeance. Can't wait until this evening!

As a few of you may know, I belong to a rather active blogging community. I started off, however, sharing my original blog with a guy I went to school with. And he is completely nuts about Lost. I mean, we've basically gone our separate ways now (I'm into games journalism and he's into... uh... well, Lost still) but the amount of material - even between series - he digs up about the show is immense (http://losttogetherblogalone.blogspot.com/). I mean, I tried to contribute and catch up, but I only watched up to the start of season 3. The plot advances bloody slower than a Dragonball Z episode and the character development is about as varied as a Pizza Hut menu, FCS. I just don't have the patience!

It seems to be loosing its touch very, very quickly.

Firstly, ROFL. Dunno why that made me giggle so much, it just did. Secondly, I have never watched Lost. And till the day I die I will be able to say that. I saw the ads back when the series was about to air and just thought.. No. And how can they still be defined as lost? They all know where they are. On some godforsaken island in the Pacific. And I assume they've all gotten settled in by now.
The writers should have gone more Lord of the Flies. Quite frankly I think it would be hilarious if that fat bastard Hurley had his head caved in by a boulder.
