I bring this topic up because Young Justice suppose to have a video game and they have released very little footage of it in action.

I love super hero games because they usually have good plots because comic book writers might come and help write the plot So its nice to see a comic book game come out.

Update: the game Young justice is getting reviewed badly and looks pretty bad. Also has Day 1 DLC nice going Warner Brothers. You have your own gaming division and its your I.P. How do you screw this up?

Oh Dear lord I am getting that feeling so much for Dark Souls 2. I don't want it to suck, I want it to be good, I want it to be awesome, I want it to be everything that made Dark Souls good refined and with more of it. But Dear Lord am I paranoid that it's not gonna live up to those expectations.

Um... I hope every game that I buy doesn't suck.

If you mean those games where you suspect that it is going to suck but would really like for it not to, then Mirror's Edge 2.

I have this unpleasant feeling they're going to pump up the shooting. In the original, most situations could be solved by simply fleeing, something vary rare in a game, and you could complete the whole thing without firing a single shot. Something tells me that isn't going to be seen as a selling point and the sequel will be made as primarily a shooter/brawler with platforming.

Blade and Soul for when it finally, finally, FINALLY comes out in the US.

I want it so much, so bad. But I'm thinking of just saying 'screw that' and trying my best with the chinese servers.

I never get it in the sense it fills me with dread because I think a new game I want isn't as good as it's hyped up to be. I'm a better judge of game than that.

I do get it when I see a creative game and I want it to do well to inspire others to break out of the mold and show risks can be rewarded. It never happens, but I can hope.

Yeah I read a comment similar to this on one the trailers of Mirror's edge two.

With EA games I also get the "There going to make this game appeal to a wider audience by dumbing it down feeling." Followed by the, "I'm going to have to buy some DLC that should've been in the game."

Remember me was a game trying something new. I wanted trying something new but didn't review to well. I'll just pick it up on a steam sell.

I had that feeling when I picked up Tales of Vesperia, and if my constant praise for the game is any indication, that fear was unfounded.

As far as upcoming titles go:

Dark Souls 2--I just don't see this living up to the hype of its predecessor. Also, the sequel to most of my favorite games turns out to be horrible, so I just want to be cautious on this one.

Mirror's Edge 2--I hope this can be good, but given my lack of faith in either DICE or EA (or she-who-must-not-be-named [http://www.destructoid.com/blogs/TheKodu/the-sarkeesian-the-dice-and-the-mirror--235992.phtml])[footnote]No, do not take this last part too seriously. I doubt Sarkeesian can make the writing any worse than DICE did in the first game.[/footnote], I just have a hard time having faith in this game.

Yep. Have that feeling right now with Watch_Dogs.

I hope the game feels fresh instead of being a modern day Assassins Creed. And maybe the PC port will be okay, maybe.

Oh, and Mirrors Edge 2. I loved the original. Lets hope EA don't split the game up with loads of DLC (Oh who am I kidding?!)

I feel this way constantly now because game developers demand so much money, and reveal so little information, demanding a huge leap of faith every time you buy a game, and honestly I've been burned quite a bit in recent memory. Heck, the gaming industry has gotten to the point where right now I'm reluctant to buy a game if I don't already know how it ends, largely because of the tendency towards weak, nonsensical, or just plain terrible endings to games that can retroactively ruin the entire experience before you got that far... thank you EA and ME3 for being the final, and most dramatic, nail in that coffin.

I feel that way about "Dragon Age: Inquisition" right now. What I've seen of it looks promising, but I was so disappointed by "Dragon Age II" that I don't have the same faith in Bioware that I used to.

I was going to post some examples the I realised that I have absolutely no interest in any games coming up this year. I really could not care less. Maybe Dead Light? The better looking zombie game? I felt no inclination to buy any new console because every launch game was shit and I have an alright PC. I'm going to end up doing what I always do and backtrack to all the good games I missed when they released.

I'm playing nothing but League in which i'm on a terrible losing streak and that Attack on Titan web browser game which is surprisingly addictive and is really high quality all things considered, the matchmaking could be better obviously but I can't begrudge them for that and they could really add a back of the legs weakpoint like in the anime.

Though that would only make these guys who are ridiculously good at the game even better. I mean really good, as in they do all the over the shoulder, full speed one shot swag consistently. Crawlers still make the entire server panic though.

Oh and if you don't have the AoT theme song on repeat the whole time you're depriving yourself of half the fun.

To be honest the only games I'm looking forward to currently are the newly announced Persona games, and I have faith in Atlus to do them well.

I get the feeling of hoping it won't suck with movies a lot more than games. For example, I'm praying that Batman vs Superman is good. With games, I can generally tell whether I will like it or not before purchase.

The only games I've been burnt on in recent memory were Assassin's Creed 3 and Dishonored.

I got that feel with Bioshock Infinite.

Now, I'm a fan of the first game above them all. It was new, it was creative and original, and it was fun. I also actually liked the second installment, if only to do a little bit of multiplayer and I'm such a fangirl for the Drill. That was pretty much my only weapon in that game.

Then came Infinite. I was a little weary of it by the time it finally released since it had it's date's pushed back a couple times. After reviewing the teaser vids and gamplay, by that time the fans of it were buying the first copies and were bloody well stark raving mad. I hate associating myself with any fanbase, that fact that I listed to them and bought the game proved to be a mistake.

So TL;DR - I had that feel with Bioshock Infinite, turns out I was right and it did suck and blame the fans for over-hyping the game.

I would've thought that just about everyone thinks that about any game they're looking forward to.

For myself at the moment I'm mostly hoping Satellite Reign doesn't suck. I backed it healthily, it's an ambitious project and I'm a big fan of Syndicate Wars. Please pull it off 5 Lives!

I get that feeling with every new game I play. Usually they don't suck but do have some problems.

I try to take a slightly pessimistic view to new games. That way if they're bad, I'm no very disappointed, and if they're good I'm pleasantly surprised. That said, sometimes you just can't resist hype.

I hope all of the games I get don't suck, but I'm especially concerned about Fallout 4 (and whether or not it's actually real).
