Does anyone ever get the, "I hope this game doesn't suck feeling" Update the game sucked

Dragon Age III. Bioware's track record in recent years has been... very bad, so I have my reservations about this next installment. I'm really hoping that they manage to summon up the old magic again, but won't be buying DAIII until I've seen some reviews.

I was that same way when I picked up Assassin's Creed IV. Seeing as my hate for Assassin's Creed III was really high, and I was just super scared for IV. Goodnews is Edward's storm trumped Conners.

Also for Trauma Team on the Wii. I loved Trauma Center too much, and got worried. But it was great, so I was pretty safe.

Um... I hope every game that I buy doesn't suck.

This, with the exception of Sonic 06, Alice: Madness Returns, KH: Re:Coded, and most of the game "franchises" I still follow like a puppy... mostly because I know what I'm getting into, anyway...

OT: Bayonetta 2... I'm not expecting it to be better or "badder" than the first game, but dammit! I'm playing this game no matter how good or bad it ends up being to the "general" public...

I'm about to get borderlands 2 GOTY edition, so I'm hoping that doesn't suck.

It doesn't but the way Gear Box releases DLC does. I bought the online pass thinking I get all the DLC nope just 4 of them

I know I'm about to ask an "Apples Vs. Oranges" comparison here, but should I get assassin's creed IV instead? Pirating looks fun. Not that kind of pirating, mods, the yo-ho boats cannon fire parrot on shoulder scurvy infection kind of pirating.

Haven't played Assassin's creed but Border Lands does have a ton of replay value evn Yatzee made fun of the game but talked about how we up at 4 in the morning playing it

Yes right now I have that feeling for a game that so far isn't even showing much signs of life is The Last Guardian, due to it's long time in development it is not leaving me with a good feeling.

I really want Dark souls 2 to be as good as it looks like it will be but im so worried about it. I've heard talk that the publisher mostly ignored the first game thinking it wouldn't be successful but that they are more involved with the second one which has we all know is a bad thing.

I've even heard mention of an in-game cash shop somewhere which I pray is not the case.

I get that feeling typically when I've been waiting for a particular title for far too long. Luckily I haven't been disappointed too often. That said, there have been games that I've found underwhelming considering the wait.

Saint's Row 3 and 4, while good games, I expected to have more of the things I liked and to be just as long if not longer.
