Crimson Gem Saga, Brave Story, Breath of Fire 3, Disgaea 1 and 2, Valkyrie Profile 2, Jeanne D'Arc, Sega Genesis Collection has a few great RPGs on it, Final Fantasy Tactics (PSOne Classics VERSION ONLY not the shitty port on UMD), Final Fantasy VII

-You could check out monster hunter
-Digaea 1 and 2

-Brave Story New Traveler
-Hexyz Force
-Crimson Gem Saga
-Lunar: Silver Star Harmony
-Valkyrie Profile
-Valkyria Chronicles 2
-Breath of Fire 3
-Final Fantasy 1 and 2
-Yggdra Union

annnd my brain just gave out. Geez I had to go over to my game shelf just to remember some of these. There are plenty more, but all of these are great RPGs for sure. They should keep you busy for a while until a bevy of more come out seeing as there quite a few more PSP games on the way.

This. Now that I went and checked it, the PSP has a fricking huge RPG library for a handheld. Valkyria Chronicles 2 and Persona 3 are the two that are insanely awesome. Valkyria Chronicles 3 just got announced and will drop in Japan in Jan 2011, so I'm calling for Aug/Sept 2011 release North America.

Yea it doesn't take much effort to do a google search for this kind of stuff. A shame most of this would still fall on deaf ears (or blind eyes). I don't care if most of em are ports or remakes, they are still fucking epic games.

Persona 3 Portable. You're set. Easily the best RPG on the PSP, hands down.

Valkyria Chronicles 2, though it's more of an SRPG. Crisis Core was...eh, decent enough I guess.

I heard very good things about VC2, I'll definitely give it a look.

i hear the portable phantasty star is good, but i like the one on the gamecube the best.

Final Fantasy Tactics definitely gets my vote on this one. Great story, actual player-controled character making a difference in the events of the world (even if only one possible outcome), these are the only things that really make a good RPG. Bit of a downside that the lengthy tactical game play kind of slows things down.

I've also heard that Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core is decent (ignoring the crack-driven randomly determined combat stuff).

Breath of Fire, Lunar, and Persona series are also a good recommendation.
