As a legitimately avid gamer I try to keep my horizons expanded as to not miss out on any good game experience no matter how obscure. So far I have played around 10 indie games, but the only ones I keep returning to are Miner: Dig Deep, I MAED A GAM3 W1TH ZOMBUES 1N IT, and sometimes Avatar Golf. I think the absence of achievement points is what really puts me off; it would be nice to have those challenges acknowledged when met. Anyways, how many of you play these games and which ones would you recommend?

I would be more inclined to if they didn't require you to always be online. That is just lame.

I've played a few. I think the main reason is that most of them are either shit, or just get tedious after a while. Though, I did like the Baby Maker Game, the one where you try and launch your avatar really far. Otherwise, they aren't too interesting.
It's hard to disagree nearly all of them are quite shitty and is the presentation isn't awful you know the gameplay will be.

Though, I'd gladly buy indie games if it meant I would never have see or hear the indie games review show thing on xbox live. That was beyond terrible, it raped my eyes and ears.

there are some good ones and i like the whole demo thing since it allows you to see what is actually worth buying (thanks to that the only one i have bought is I MAED A GAM3 W1TH ZOMBIES 1N IT !!!1 which i absolutely loved) but some are just too dam expensive for what they are, 1200 MS for an arcade game? that roughly means something like 2 arcade games to 1 new standard game, and the standard one will last you much longer and you can resell it after, or just buy a 2ndhand one to start with for the same price as a high end arcade game.

There are a few gems, but most of the good things are under arcade. I wish they had a way to limit all the shit games. Like, say, people review the Indie game, and it needs at least 3 stars to get put on marketplace.
i'd like that system, but i'd also feel kinda bad as it would discourage people from trying. I mean, I guess some people must buy those games.

Ahh I don't know, i've kind of given up on the idea of the indie marketplace now.
