So, on the subject of FF, they are pretty dang good games, of which I hope most people are in agreement, but come on. There's been about 20 now, is that not enough? Granted new storyline, new universe really in each individual game but, it's still... Final Fantasy. DO you want more of that? Why don't they focus their efforts on like... "Final Open World Sandbox In Which You Sometimes Come Across 50 Player Multiplayer Battles But Maintain Doing Whatever The Fuck You Want". FOWSIWYSCAFPMBBMDWTFYW , rolls off the tongue quite easily does it not? What about something like that, or more... grindfest...
Umm, yes I do wants more Final Fantasy. What I don't want is MMO Final Fantasys, at least not main number ones. Because I actually have I life, I will forever have a XI and XIV hole in my collection.

Kinda. I'm pretty apathetic towards the series in general now. The disappointment that XII was still lingers on.

However, I am ecstatic over the new Dragon Quest.

I'm definitely looking forward to FF Versus XIII (it actually looks realistic, I mean jeez, I saw blood in that trailer (gasp!)), though not so much to FFXIV. I might try it out, though.

Why would ANYONE want another JRPG? Especially another Final Fantasy. It's the same plot over and over and over again. Like Mario, Legend of Zelda, or the first three Call of Duty games. Same basic plot, same basic characters, same horrid gameplay.

Give us remakes of FFV and FFVI for the DS first and that'll do me.

I have no problems with the tactics series too.

Oh, yes. You have taken the words right out of my mouth and improved them to perfection. I may have to quote this every time someone inexplicably brings up the concept of Final Fantasy ending.

For myself, though, I'm done. Unless something interesting or creative is done with the franchise, I have no more interest in shepherding a pack of ludicrously dressed misfits down increasingly linear corridors in hopes of seeing more cutscenes.

Only if it contained these things:

1. An epic, yet easy to follow story, which can be hard, but you guys can do it.
2. No brooding angst
3. QUIT WITH THE LAWNMOWERED OUTFITS. I want a jacket and jeans that are not dotted with any sort of hole that isn't mandatory for an outfit. JACKET AND FUCKING JEANS LADIES AND GENTLEMEN OF THE JURY!
4. Changeable outfits. As in I don't want my hero/heroine wearing the same JACKET AND JEANS the whole game. Take a shower and change your clothes.

I have never played a Final Fantasy game, so I really don't care if yet another game is continually pumped out or stops. And you all know whcih of the two options will ahppen.

Yeah I want one more

They are beautiful
Nearly always have amazing stories even if Yahtzee and his ridiculous opinions disagree. If you break any story down to what he said the then any story would be boring
Attacks are much more interesting then most games
Characters are usually interesting

So what if it has the same franchise name? They are one of the best video game series ever and about 3 times longer than any others

They can continue to make more if they please and if there is a demand. If I dislike it, I'll simply ignore it and play one of the older games I do like. I'm not going to condemn an entire series because of a few iterations I did not like so I'm always up for more FF.

This is where we differ, S69!

I absolutely don't get anything from their newer games. They just don't do it for me like the golden SNES Age FF Games do.
Well, I do own both of the previously mentioned versions of FFVI, so I still see no point to a remake.
Have you played the FFIII/FFIV remakes for the DS? That's the kind of remake I would like to see for FFVI.
NO NO NO NO!!! if FF6 was remade like that it would ruin the entire spirit of that game. That visual style is just ugly and completely out of place for a game like 6. It worked fine for 3 and 4 (barely though), but I do not want to see chibi style, blocky, Kefka or any other cast members rendered in such a way. If anything they should take the kingdom hearts/Dissidia approach so not to make it look ugly and just destroy the spirit of the game.

I own Final Fantasy 1-13, including 11 with all the expansions. Yes, they'll still make more because I want more.

You're funny.

Really, I stopped playing after 10. 11 was an MMO and I wasn't interested. 12 acted like an MMO and I still wasn't interested. Despite the fact I do not have a PS3 or X360, I wouldn't want to play 13 simply because I've watched others play and it feels WAAAAY to linear. Plus, my friend mike complained about the inconsistencies: "Linear corridor, linear corridor, linear corridor, OPEN WORLD, OPEN WORLD, linear corridor, linear corridor, end."

If they stopped (Which they won't, until there's a game we DON'T buy, then they'll just start re-making old ones. NOT starting with 7.) we will have a great series to play through and remember.

As long as they take on the community's comments and put them towards a game with a better story and immense graphics, I'd love one
