Yes, Ska tends to branch with punk and some reggea, examples would be Streetlight Manifesto, Reel Big Fish, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones ect.

Yes. I dont, but this kinda is like a "Am I the only one..." thread.
I think I have some ska on my iPod though, but if I do, I dont listen to it.

I listen to ska.

Although it's that sort of thing that is great for a while, but then if you listen to it too much it becomes really annoying and repetitive. Then you detox and wait, and then the cycle continues again.

I remember I used to listen to ska nearly every fucking minute of life when about 13 or so while playing Maplestory or Runescape. I'm glad I got off, I've been clean for years.

But ska is a genre I haven't really explored that much, which is odd given how much I've listened to it. I've only really listened to the repetitive 3rd wave pop-punk ska. I know it has more to offer then that, and I'm starting to branch out, but I've preoccupied with many, many other genres of music for a while. I've found The Arrogant Sons of Bitches, Streetlight Manifesto, and Bomb the Music Industry! to be innovative though, it's not just pop-punk with horn licks and upstroke guitar verses.

A lot of Mr. Bungle's earlier stuff had a really strange, original ska sound. Seriously, it's like circus ska lol, with at least a hundred other things thrown in.

Early No Doubt definitely had ska elements, if you're an Op Ivy fan plz check out Common Rider.

I came here thinking "Who the fuck is Ska!?" But looking at everyone's responses, I guess I listen to Ska somewhat.
