Well i downloaded fallout 2 about a year ago and finisished it about 6 months after with on and off gameplay. So does anyone still play it, even every once in a while?

Well I was playing it up until about a month ago. I had to quite playing since the number of glitches I was experiencing were making the game incredibly frustrating.
I haven't played the first two fallout games, I'm sad to say. However, since fallout 3 is my favourite game of all time and I probably know quite a bit about the first two fallouts because I've read the fallout wiki to DEATH, I should check them out some time.
Not really. Considering how long I used to play it. There simply isn't anything I haven't done in that game. replayed it probably 10 times.

Actually yes I still play it. It's still on my PC and never coming off (just like X-Com). I think it's probably due to the fact that it was more complex and well written than Fallout 3. Not to mention longer.
Also, if you're going to play be on the look out for the Fallout 2 Restoration Project. It's a mod that patches the game, fixes alot of quest bugs, and adds the areas that were cut out of the final version of the game like the EPA complex, and the Abbey. It greatly improves the game. Not in the way that the fan patches and mods fixed Fallout 3. No, Fallout 2 was a good and Complete game that didn't need the help. ^_^
No, but I do play fallout tactics on occasion. I never really got into fallout nor did I like fallout 3 too much.

Plus the ending - in fact the whole last act - was a thousand times better. Which isn't to say FO3 isn't a wonderful game. It's just FO2 was better in many ways.thenightgaunt said:
