I would use it but 3d glasses are surprisingly hard to find outside of a horrible movie.

I doubt anyone does and it was probably only included in the game as a joke since it's the old blue-red 3D.

I tried it. It didn't even go 3d (pops off screen), it just looked weird.
You need the old blue and red glasses to use the 3D.
OT: I've always wanted to try, but I can't find those blasted glasses!

I'm thinking about picking up some old glasses for it, I've seen them around $5 including shipping on Amazon.

Is it the paper ones or good plastic ones cause that could be a general rip off if it was the paper ones.

Just make some out of red and blue cellophane! It'll be list grade 1 art class all over again.

Oddly enough, I recently ordered about 40 red-blue paper 3d glasses (they were for a presentation I had to give on 3d displays), and I tried the 3d mode in Minecraft out. It sort of works as long as the glasses are the right shades of red-blue, but it's not that great. Still, I think it's cool that the option is even there, and it made a nice talking point for my presentation.

I've done it, and it's ok. I wouldn't play like that for a long time though.

I don't, but that's because I didn't know there was a 3D option.

Oh wait, no it's not. I'm not going to use 3D now, either.

In answer to your question, I don't and don't plan to.

Ive tried it...
It`s fantastic for about 15 minutes, after which it makes your head hurt.
As for finding suitable 3d glasses, try googling "free 3d glasses"...

So, are there anyone here, who has a decent pair of 3d classes and a monitor and grafixcard there supports it, who has tried it?
Since I'm not surprised that the result are a bit of a let down, if you just use what you have at hand...
