I absolutely loved the first one. i think it was a great experience even tho it was short. I keep hearing rumors that there might be a second one but nothings been comfirmed. Does anyone else want the second one to come out? or is it a series thats better off left alone?

I would love a second one... so long as they don't "make it more accessible".

I thought Mirror's Edge was good, but flawed. Make it slightly more free-roamy and make the top a bit more interesting as even though the visuals were different, they got boring after a while.

Mirror's Edge 2 is probably the only sequel to an IP that warrants a multiplayer really, would be very fun.

I'd love a sequel, ideally with either less or refined combat and more running around.

I would love a sequel. The original had too much combat, and not enough parkour. I'd like to see a sequel that fixed that, and maybe some kind of multiplayer with freerunning races or something.

Yes, I want it. Multiplayer would be a blast, as well as removing some of the glitches and bullshit. Give it a better story and maybe some more freedom in choosing a route, and I'd be in the midnight lineup for it.

I?d play that.

I like the first one anyway. I?m not sure I?d buy it straight away however, maybe after a bit of a drop in price. I depends on how they change it though, I hope they would total ditch the combat.

I would definitely get the sequel...

...I just hope they make the campaign a bit longer...

And more freerun-ability would be nice too!

Yes, the first was awesome,
a second with MP, maybe even Co-Op in story mode would be grand.

I would love to see a sequel IF they could do it right this time. If they made an actual free-running experience instead of the really linear path we got in Mirrors Edge 1. If they made a huge enviroment with multiple paths. Imagine a huge world like in GTA IV or Assassins Creed you could free run in. That would be awesome

No. The gameplay was fine and the wrapped the storey up in the first one. A sequel wouldn't add anything.

EA has articles from its president dismissing the "Mirrors Edge 2 Cancelled" rumors, but we won't see a sequel until they decide on an interesting way to innovate on the parkour game mechanic.

I do want Mirros 2 and would LOVE if EA did an 'Orange Box' kinda thing. Like bundle a future 'Battlefield 4/Mirrors Edge 2' pack for $70

The rest of this post is just here so I won't be put on a probation for low content.
I loved the first game: I had no problems with bloom, motion sickness, or trouble planning the platforming in 1st person. And the combat was fine.

hell yeah man, that game owned, if it had more free roam/find your own way system it would be perfect

and yeah maybe try and improve the parkour aspect, i mean its awesome already but they need to make it better if they were to bring out a sequel

i enjoyed the 1st game, the one criticism i have with it is it was no where near as free roamey as i would have liked, i would have really enjoyed to have sections of basically just free roaming, an i don't the compliants about combat, yes it was difficult to fight but that was the point, you weren't meant to stand and fight you were meant to run.

I thought the first was a rare "diamond in the rough". It was an amazing and creative idea that with just a little tweaking, could be a properly fantastic game!
