Ok ok, put your pity and violins away, I have friends...honest...lots...some even like me..!

Seriously though. I'm in need of someone to play co op games with soon. I ask because my friend, who I would usually play with, is moving to another country, and time zones/differences mean either I wake up before dawn for a cheeky game of cops and crooks on gta for example, or i play during the twilight hours instead of sleeping.

So any takers? Damn...I feel like I'm on a dating site. Do I need to fill in a list of my turn-ons, and turn-offs? Can you tell how uncomfortable with this I am?

Ok, ok...focus...

I own a PS3 and a 360 and have a large library of games already which reflect my broad tastes, I enjoy mainly playing co op games rather than competitive ones. I enjoy the feeling of combining the efforts of a team to overcome the ridiculous task of the moment or using guerilla tactics and our wicked cunning to flank and/or make a diversion or whatever, rather than simply gunning down the opposition. I'm 23 years old, and living in England and would prefer someone similar, mainly because I don't want to be paired with an annoying 15 year old with a squeaky voice coming off a sugar high, demanding we play CoD for the billionth time. But also if your living in England, it'll be a lot easier to fit in a good session of gaming around jobs, etc. Not that Americans or whoever need not apply, but with time differences, it may be difficult

I understand this may be a shot in the dark, and I also understand that this may attract some trolls, but whenever I spend time on this site all I can think is that everyone on this site is very like-minded. We're all here for the same thing. To enjoy games, whether it be as an artistic medium, an escape from reality, or a way to wind down the day with pals and enjoy experiences normal humdrum lives would never encounter. Oooh and no pity requests. Don't feel obligated, like you need to come save me or whatever. I'm looking for someone I can have an actual friendship with. Something...you can describe as just...cool...you know what I mean?...like the sorta friendship where you'll say "aaah, I'm jus' gonna go hang out with ----- for a while...no big".

Ok, starting to ramble.
Thanks for reading.

It's too bad I'm not one of the 'cool kids'. :D

Also, the fact that I practically never connect my PS3 to the internet and don't pay for Xbox Live Gold probably hurts me doing multi-player with anybody.

Boy, I kinda feel like a dick now.

I could be persuaded. What games?
PS, I'm a UK resident, 20 (near enough), but I haven't bought a staggering array of games lately, so you'll have to let me know what games you have.

I have to follow BlueberryMUNCH's lead. Drop a game-list and we'll see what's up.

24, American.

Wow, not expecting Interest this soon. My gaming library? Geez, you want me to reel off what I have? It's a lot simpler to say what games I don't have. To put it bluntly, I'll play anything, good and bad, like I said above, I enjoy working in a team, bringing all different skills together to compliment each other to take on an objective. Co op games I've played an loved are: portal 2, the uncharted series, lost planet 2, resident evil 5, rainbow 6 Vegas series, dead rising 2, ninja gaiden sigma 2, little big planet, demon/dark souls, tenchu z,the fable series, dead island, borderlands, the splinter cell series, the saints row series, the crackdown series, the gears of war series, two worlds 2, the left 4 dead series, the assassins creed series, the resistance series.

Thats the extent of my coop library, everything else is single player. Now you may notice some...questionable...games there, and I could explain why each of those games/series have given me a decent co op experience, but this list should reflect how broad my tastes go. I suppose the one limitation is I chose not to play CoD. That may anger some of you, but with criminally short campaigns and multiplayer that quickly turns into deathmatch (sort of) after deathmatch, I want a better experience else where for less of of equal price. This isn't a CoD hate speech, really. Each to their own, right?

19, American, 360. My library has been greatly depleted over the past few months, as I kept selling old games to get good store credit for new releases. I still have for MP...Reach or Halo 3, if you happen to have those. I mostly just screw around on there. Talk in party chat a lot with people on my friends list, so. I can easily get my hands on a copy of Dead Island. Sold Borderlands, but intend on buying Borderlands 2. I know I have Gears3 tucked away somewhere, but I can't dispute my skill in its MP. I'm a chainsaw-runner.

Basically, if you just like to shoot the shit and have an amusing time, I'm your guy.

That's a nice list. My GT and PSNID are on my profile.

Lets see,
PS3: Uncharted, all the CoD's (Does have Spec-Ops), Killzone 2 and 3 (I think they have online co-op), LBP, Resistance 1-3, Saints Row 2 and the Third, and SOCOM 4.
369: Crackdown 1 and 2, The Darkness 2, Gears 1-3, Halo Reach, GRAW, R6V, Splinter Cell Double Agent and Conviction, and L4D.

It just scratches the surface, but if you want to game some time hit me up. Got mics for both consoles.

We all hate you.

I kid of course. Don't really play MP myself, but I hope you find someone to have fun with.

A shame, truly, that you do not game on PC, for I myself lack a reliable coop partner. And therefore most fun coop games, like L4D2 (or at least I heard it's good).

And you should have listed your favorite games to play together instead of turn ons, then the escapist dating analogy would be perfect!

Here's an idea! Lets make Escapist dating for lonely souls wanting to play coop! :)

That, my good sir, is an excellent idea! I wanted to recruit a group to play with when Planetside 2 comes out.

You like Clannad, PC gaming and, L4D? A match made in heaven.

Now we only need someone with the initiative to create such user group (does a user group even provide adequate tools for such purpose?) and/or the know-how to create corresponding web page!
Volunteers?

It seems Clannad brings people together. You are second person in last few weeks to note that one shared interest :) And I can't really say I like L4D as I have never played it, I do enjoy coop multi-player in Space Marine 40k to some extend and liked ME3 demo multi-player, which I imagine is based on similar mechanics, correct?

Edit:
I em looking at user group creation screen and can create (very) basic web pages. If anyone more in the know comes by and is interested I would be more than happy to leave the idea of Escapist dating in their care.

Hahahaha...No. ME3 and L4D are nothing like each other. Although if you have any of the CoDs other than 2 we could play some co-op. I'm down for that.

Don't know how to creat user groups, but would join in an instant.

Creating user group seems easy enough, maintaining it looks more difficult.
And unfortunately the only coop games I have are Dungeon Defenders and Tribes: Ascend, so no CoD. I do play LoL on occasion too (mostly tank and support).

I read your list. I do have Borderlands, Lost Planet 2, the Assassin's Creed series and the Resistance series. I only have them for PS3 and I've never played the multiplayer for Resistance so I'm gonna be pretty inexperienced in that field. I don't do the AC stuff much anymore. If you have Mass Effect 3 on PS3 I'll gladly play with you. Send me a PM if you're interested. Same goes for anyone else here. I'm no pro at it but I do like to have fun.
