EDIT: After some confusion I am mostly refering to the visuals. I am actually interested in the rest.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am asking this because to me it doesnt look good at all, not exactly bad but average (characters do look terrible though).

In Gametrailers the guys from the site are also divided on that , one thinks it was the best looking game of the show and another thinks that it was extremely unremarkable.

In comparison, it looks fairly close to Gears of War 3, especially in the lighting.

It looks alright to me, i do like the art style. And it by no means looks ugly. Whether the gameplay looks good or not is a different matter.

Inquisition is the game I'm currently looking forward to the most, and I've already put in my order for the Inquisitor's Edition. I like everything I've seen so far, and since Bioware haven't let me down yet I'm rather confident in the fact that I'll enjoy this title as well.

Looks awesome to me. In fact, it's what I'm looking forward to most. I disagree about the characters. I think they look great.

I'm actually really excited about DA:I.

I'm going to have so many save files on that game.
I just wish they'd release more information on it. They seem to be not releasing much stuff about it.

Everything except the combat seems good to me. From what I have seen of it, they are drifting closer and closer to all of their RPG's being action games instead. I don't dislike action, but that's not why I started buying Bioware games in the first place.

I am not going to buy into the hype about choices being meaningful and all of the other things they have said with every previous release though. They've said it too many times and never really lived up to the hype they have created themselves.

The concept of the Inquisition itself is appealing and I am pleased about the cast revealed so far. I haven't seen too much about the classes and specialities but from what I have heard, the specialities seem to be a bit more unique which interests me.

My largest dilemma is that if I wish to play it I currently only have the PS3 as an option, and I don't really want to play the weakest version they are going to release.

Hrmmmm.

EDIT: You may wish to make it clearer that by "looks good" you are referring to graphically only. I only realised that after posting the above.

The levels/world and overall graphics/aesthetics I like very much. The environments look great as does the lighting and colour palette.

The characters look a little odd, but for some reason Bioware ones quite often do. I think visually they are easily the weakest aspect.

Oh my. That is some particularly spiffing architecture, especially in the first screenshot. We'll see what it's like when it comes out, but I think they're at least going in the right art direction.

EDIT: Yes...yes, I know.

Yes, it looks great to me. The only issue I currently have with it is that none of the new cast members they briefly introduced appeal to me at all.

Yeah it looks like it could be an alright game. I enjoyed the first one and even got some enjoyment out of the second despite it being such a huge disappointment. Im sure they have changed their ways and this game will be totally enjoyable with no stupid changes made or life sucked out of it. Im sure it will be a full experience on launch rather than cut up into 20 DLC packs.

What could go wrong?

Oh right...

The first image is from Gears of War 3's multiplayer.

It looks alright.

I still enjoy Bioware and their games, despite a certain recent-ish event. I'll play it at some point and I expect that I shall enjoy it.

However, I've never been all that big on Dragon Age as a whole. It lacks... I dunno, identity I suppose. It sorta feels like Fantasy RPG: The Game.

EDIT: Oh, you means graphics specifically. Eh, looks fine to me. Although I shall reserve judgement until I see some detailed environments. Bioware game tend to look awfully sparse and "not lived in" if you know what I mean. ME3 was the only one that came close to presenting a credible environment.

Oh my god...well, Gears of War 3 certainly looks nice, then! xD

Some of the other screenshots from DA:I do still look nice. The art direction is interesting, if not outstanding. Apart from that, I can't say much. I'd also like to know more about the characters, because I haven't seen much of any of them yet. They're really more impressive than the background scenery.

It looks pretty on the visual side. I'm concerned on how it plays, especially combat, since they've gone to a more action oriented style if you are 3rd person, but then there is the tactical style, which I hope is more, you know tactical.

Speaking just visually.
To me it looks like the best of any "next-gen" (Still don't call it "Current gen") RPG, I haven't seen enough of The Witcher 3 to judge it.

Still, it looks better than most games on the new consoles.
Excluding a few I guess.

I just hope that the new large environments won't look so good that you will miss out on a lot of loot.
That and I hope it won't go for a graphical downgrade like a certain controversial Ubisoft game.

Other than that, I just hope it lives up to my hype and that Bioware won't ... well ... "Mass Effect 3" us.
Especially since I was one of the dumbs to get suckered into getting that Inquisitor's Edition.
Don't worry, some day I will learn.

Burn me once (DA2) shame on you.
Burn me twice (ME3) shame on me.
Burn me three times and I'm an irredemable idiot.

Won't be purchasing at launch, I'll wait until the hype dies down and it's on sale before I consider a purchase for even a second, thank you.

I'm gonnnnnaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa POST THIS VIDEO AGAIN BECAUSE I WANT TO WATCH IT AGAIN AHEHEUAMJFAGMJUGH

(sorry). I think it looks absolutely gorgeous from what they've shown so far. The only thing I'd say is that if we get downgraded visually I'll be liek, totes mad. But yeah, visuals are my middle-road in terms of priority. I just want the game to be good and fun, visuals are a part of that. :D

I haven't really been sold on the series art direction, mainly because Bioware keeps changing it. The first game had some decent architecture and design, let down by muddy muddy visuals. The second game looks like complete garbage. This one looks pretty, but I don't find anything that really pops about it that really looks unique.

It looks pretty good, which is more than I can say about previous entries in the series. DA2 was alright, nothing special, but Origins is downright ugly. The primary color scheme of that game is "brown, brown, and more brown!" And that is coming from someone who loves Origins.

ive had it on preorder since pax last year when they showed the alpha, it looks beautiful, and it looks like they listened to fans about what they wanted.

BTW a little surprised we only got 1 person butt hurt by bioware in this thread so far and they were the 15th post down.

Oh yes, I am excited. I loved Dragon Age: Origns, and I am in the minority when it comes to Dragon Age 2. I have yet to be let down by BioWare, and I am looking forward to Dragon Age: Inquisition, so much so that I replayed both games and I am now going through the various novels.

The game does look absolutely gorgeous, and I cannot wait to get my hands on it. It is nice to see the Frostbite engine being used for something with a drop of imagination. When it comes to Inquisition however, I am probably most excited to see how the past decisions have an impact on the game, and I would love to see the Warden and Hawke reappear and see how they interact with each other.

Of all of the games that I am looking forward to this year, this is one that I am going to get on launch day for definite.
