The ends never justifies the means; being weak self-justifies using the most unchallenging method to get where other people are.
Well this could lead into a huge philosophical discussion.Praetorian13 said:Definately!canadamus_prime said:Of course not.
I'm reminded of one of the tech quotes from Civilization V.
?As soon as men decide that all means are permitted to fight an evil, then their good becomes indistinguishable from the evil that they set out to destroy.?
? Christopher Dawson
I suppose that doesn't mean much when it comes to AC:B though, does it? Having never played AC:B I'm not really sure I understand the situation. If they're taking advantage of a flaw in the game just to get ahead then that's cheap and it ruins the experience for everyone else.
It is weird that the Assassin's little motto thing is 'Nothing is true, everything is permitted' which weirdly goes with the quote you just said!
Game wise I think it's a massive hole in an otherwise perfect game!
SPORTSMANSHIP!! That's the word I was looking for. Yes, it's about sportsmanship. No body wants to play with a poor sport and I imagine that guy will find that out soon enough.Woodsey said:Well that's just bad sporstmanship!Praetorian13 said:Bingo. No fun at all.Woodsey said:Oooh, you mean they stand over you until you get up again, then rinse and repeat?
Quit out and join a different game - I never had that trouble if I'm honest (played online for about a month).
No, in a game gameplay comes first, leader-boards come second. Sportsmanship and teamwork, and playing by the damn rules are the order of the day for everyone to have fun, that little thing we actually play games for (or entertainment if you prefer).Praetorian13 said:So basically. Does the ends justify the means?
