but i did it to myself once on fallout new vegas, i had like 140 hours in one playthrough, and i started a new one only to save over my lengthy save file, i was so annoyed at myself but i got over it because i cant stay mad at myself, i mean look at my adorable face *smiles and eyes glisten*

Possibly asshole-ish, but completely understandable. I can't imagine I'd act differently. I wouldn't get too beaten up over the whole thing. My ultimate solution is to just get, reapply, preaj drunk with your sister, as it is christmas after all. Merry christmas!!

I would say your reaction is reasonable. I usually have two saves (with one not being very far apart in time than the other) but I would be pretty pissed if that happened to me. I've done it to myself a few times actually.

No. It was a fairly assholish thing to do, but EVERYONE flips out over something silly in their life at least once.

I see that you and your sister are cool now, so I'm sure me posting this is... pointless. But I'm in a relatively good mood, so I'll just say that I'm glad things worked out
