Does your computer make noises at you?

Currently my laptop is making this whirring sound from one of the vents. When the sound started, I thought there was a tiny wolf howling at me.

Anyone else have weird moments like this with your computer? What noise is your computer producing right now?

Since I'm running two graphics cards which require 2 PCI slots each off a 12 year old board, mine is constantly whirring and smelling like burning metal.

My desktop used to make a constant buzz, with an occasional vrrroooOOOOMMMMmmm when something went wrong that caused me to shit my pants and unplug the computer.

My computer tells me it is going to do awful things to me in my sleep.

Other than that, it always makes a loud grating sound that sounds like an electronic goat is in pain.

I get the typical clicking noises from the hard drive, the slow whir/hum from the fans and the high pitched semi-screech when the graphics card fan spins up when I'm playing a game.

It's constant it can hardly handle running itself and freezes up with 5 tabs.

The "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" part is where the laptop fan overtakes my CD player in terms of volume.

I remember computers that didn't explode whenever you touched them... Oh, goddamn, I miss my desktop.

I have that same problem actually. My dad says that it's because the fan needs to be oiled...

My laptop is giving me the typical fan hum, although it does freak me out when it gets louder. makes me want to put it down fro a few seconds, like it needs to regain its composure.

Off topic, my boiler has started to make noises that sound like the Geth. makes for the fun times when your trying to make a sandwich...
