I can run Crysis on the highest settings (cant remember what those are but thats what i played it on at 60 fps.

For another example it can also run shogun total war 2 on highest settings with largest sized units. Which makes battles look incredibly awesome by the way.

Runs Dawn Of War 2 on highest settings too.

-also id just like to add that i agree that dx11 and tessellation looks awesome.

My laptop cannot run Crysis 2 it would be a miracle if it did. It cannot run a few year old sandboxes like The Saboteur. It CAN run Sims 2 with expansions. That's actually part of the reason I chose it - I wanted one that could run Sims and in a review the man said that he had played Sims on it without it crashing.

I can run Crysis at ultra settings with 1200/1024 resolution.

Crysis 2 I can run it at "Advanced" preset which I think it's high settings.

My computer is straining against newer games though. If I can run them on medium near high settings I think I'm alright.

I hope Deus Ex HR won't have high system requirements so I can play it without fps drops. Can hope the same for Skyrim or SWTOR.

Crysis 1 on all high specs (Very High is blocked off, because I'm not on vista, so no DX10 I believe, though my card does support DX11)

Short answer: no. No it can't. But my PC is a horrible piece of crap anyway, and my laptop isn't much better.

My pc is powerful enough to run Crysis 1 on ultra settings with the extreme FX mod, 60fps.
Did you enjoy your trip to the future?

OP: I can run most things about New Vegas level on my roomate's laptop, and up to about Morrowind level on my laptop- I barely have enough to live at the moment, so I sadly cannot blow any money on a sexy new rig, or even a decent one.

Oh for god's sake, Crysis is not THAT big of a deal...

I bought my PC 4 years ago and even then it was hardly top of the line (around $500). It runs Crysis smoothly and without problems on mid settings. The bad rep Crysis got was from people with 10-15 year old machines which barely run Quake 2 who try to run Crysis and then they whine about the "insane hardware requirements", which in turn makes about as much sense as whining that you can't run God of War on your PSX...

I don't know, I imagine it could run Crysis if I've never been interested in Crysis so I've never bothered to put it through that trial. It's run Fallout 3 and Oblivion and Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 1 & 2 without difficulty.
Using my insanely powerful intuition, i'm guessing you like R.P.Gs :)

My computer runs everything I put in it. I don't often check the graphics settings, but it runs NFS Hot Pursuit 2K10 at full speed.

My computer runs crysis on medium specs really well, can do high specs but it gets laggy. My laptop probably would run it on the lowest settings and be JUST playable.

Well I recently just got a new PC. And the most graphics intensive thing I've played on it so far would be Dawn of War 2.

I dont know what the upper benchmark would be though, (my graphics card is a Geforce GT 230.)
