Don't think my screen name is very good.

It could be worse, you could have chosen [>~@XxVG_AddictD4rkV3g3t4Bl4ckF1r3xX@~<]. Usernames on the internet in the early 00s were truly hellish. '1337-speak' and DBZ references were more abundant than pictures of cats with captions.

Yeah, it's pretty generic, but it could be worse. Your name is acceptable. I think mine is better, though.
the name of the AI from Neuromancer is definitely a good name :)

I've seen worse. Its clearly not as genius and mysterious as mine. Though I honestly only recognise most users by their avatars. Of course you use the default so I'll have to make note of you now

Yeah, your names pretty generic, obvious and pointless. But that's ok, that's not what's important. What you need to do is set an image as your profile pic. There are loads of users on this site whose name I don't know, but recognise purely by their image, so if you don't want to just be a generic background dweller, set a memorable profile pic.

Ok, normally the arrogance of someone claiming to have a genius and mysterious name would annoy me, but damn, you're completely correct. Bravo on the name choosing.

Eh. Generally speaking, most screen names are pretty generic, including mine.
Choose whatever you're comfortable with. A profile pic would make you stand out a bit though. 'Nuff said.

Well at least it's not a Zelda pun, I like Hero of Lime, but I wish it was something like Hero of Rhyme, a bit more clever. I already changed it once from a neat name, but nooooo I had to have a Zelda avatar and username like the shameless fanboy I am. Your username may be a bit generic, but I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Don't listen to all these shlubs. There are good handles and then there are boring handles, and then there are theme handles.

A theme handle is like a gimmick. If I were to imagine a typical name for your average pub scrub scoreboard bottom-feeder in Team Fortress 2, I once saw a guy named Squeezetubecheeselube and for a brief moment thought he was the coolest guy ever.

I like chickens so I use Chicken Smoking a Cigar, Chickenshoes, or previously Mechanical_Chicken before my friggin brother stole that one. Mechanical_Chicken just sounds so smooth I really miss it....

and then he gets compliments for the name I thought up I HATE HIM

... But back on topic if you feel your name is too generic you can just tack on some more random stuff on it so it's sufficiently unique and random

VG_Addict-McCactus

Whoah-ho! you could get yourself a cyber girlfriend that's really a fat guy at this rate mr personality.

It's terrible, we need to get you to a hospital before your generic name corrupts the forums and destroys the Internets!
... Now where did I leave that damned sarcasm tag again.

Seriously though the name is fine, but you really need to get an avatar if you want to be remembered.

Your username is a little generic, but the lack of an Avatar really makes you faceless.

Hit up the folks at the Avatar Smithing Group for a unique face to separate yourself from the herd.

Nope, I can't.

To me, it just looks like the same person double-posting everywhere, and having arguments with themselves...

Better than mine.

Mine was funny at first, but now that everywhere I turn is Captain Ballsack, the novelty has gone and only a dark, sad hole remains.

They've kind of congelled into a nameless mess for me. Kind of like Legion without guns and the awesome.

OT:

As stated before, all you need is a kickass avatar[footnote]Look to your left for a perfect example.[/footnote], affiliations with an amazing usergroup [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/the-injustice-league] and you're golden.

Hey... it could be worse! When I changed to my current one, I misspelled Elementary... that was embarrasing! I had to write to a member of staff pleading to change it to the correct spelling, as it greatly shamed me!

I think it is more important to have a catchy, recognisable avatar... people will associate you with that!

Reminds me of the good old days that I played World of Warcraft in.

I used to laugh at names like "SwordWarrior" and "Deathstab" this way.

Not like i pay attention to peoples tiny names here anyway, i am extremely 'visual'
At least you do not have any random numbers at the end of your name indicating that someone already used it
Great shame finds me for doing that on youtube

Bro. Allow me to direct you to your left.
I used up my username change changing it from 'Jasonater' so I'm kind of stuck with it.
Wanna swap?

YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR NAME?!?! Awww yeah, I like my name but I can't pass up a chance to CHANGE IT!

Edit: Aww shit never mind, I forgot which e-mail I used to make this and I'm too lazy to figure out which one it is. I guess I'm stuck being White Lightning.
