Don't you hate it when you make a topic and then some uptight sac of rocks says in a condescending way "this topic has already been made before, you should post there instead of making a new topic."
Or something along those lines. Even though it hasn't really happened to me, I've seen it plenty of times and each time, I'd never seen the topic that was made before that one so I basically would have missed out on the inside jokes. >:U

Is there anything that you just hate on the Escapist that you feel like getting off your chest?

I'm not a fan of new people.... well not all new people. But there has been a strange rise in trolls lately. You just have to think very carefully and do all your research before starting a new thread. That should stop all of those people.

I just ignore the 'search button' remarks plus they just add to your thread anyway and without any proof it's basically trolling.

I hate it when people expect me to take their word for anything they say without a source.

I hate it when people make topic titles that end in a pause causing me to click on the thread to know the rest of the title. For example "What's your favorite..." when it should be "What's your favorite flavor of Ice Cream?" there, simple, from that I can gather all information on the topic and make a decision on whether or not I wish to reply to it, or not.

I'm sorry if it seems like I'm picking on you but this is really the only thing that ticks me off on forums.

For me it is when people don't take the time to type out their God-damned sentances.

I'm not saying I'm perfect. For example, that weird hyphen thin I did with "God-damned" is most likely very incorrect, but it isn't as bad or obnoxious as "ur moms rude" (which I did just read before posting this).

Think of it this way. You work hard all your life to make ends meet, and some bum guy gets payed by the government for doing nothing.

The one difference betweent the two parallels is that the bum guy would probably die of starvation or arrested for some crime related thing, while the forum user just does it because he's a lazy jerk.

I don't know how else to articulate this peeve, but I guess I'm just sort of OCD as far as forums go.

The search bar is quite picky, so I usually just do it the manual way and check the first 4 pages of the forum I'm posting in.

Some people say, "Oh, well this could be better in such and such way."
