I jog to work in jeans. I guess that means I like trousers/pants.

I like trousers! In summer, I rock the 'trousers, no shirt or shoes' look when it gets that hot. Trousers above all else!

Would people here seriously feel more comfortable wearing no pants in public?

Hate trousers, love jeans. It's a complicated relationship. They are like mercenaries to me, I buy them, and they provide me with shelter from harsh weather conditions. We don't love eachother, we only fufill our duties...

No, pants are a necessity. My legs are hairy enough that it looks like I'm wearing furry pants. Its best for everyone to keep that shit covered up.

that's why I wear skirts and dresses

being a girl has its perks at times.
You, my friend, just won +1 internetz ;)

OT: Pants, yes. Trousers, I live in Norway, so yes, unless it's really warm, then it's shorts.
Girls should always wear skirts or dresses though, they look so nice. Unless, of course, it is arse freezing cold. ;)
I agree with this, occasionally... But I always wear pants no matter what. Unless I'm planning to stay inside all day. Like today.

Pants suck. If they're too tight, which they usually are since skinny jeans are popular now, it's a perpetual wedgie. But, if I actually buy pants that feel good, they make look like I'm trying to be "gangsta". There's no middle line... Sometimes I wish guys could wear skirts (whoops, sorry. They're called kilts not skirts.) Now hear me out, I'm not a cross-dresser and I don't wear skirts/kilts now.

If you look at the pure comfortableness of skirts versus pants, it would make sense that women should actually wear pants. They have nothing to grind up against their spine, while guys do. You can't really get a wedgie with a skirt now, can you? Also, skirts would also mean that sweaty balls would be a thing of the past.

I realize such a thing would never happen, and I probably look weird even suggesting it. I'm just throwing it out there for consideration.

Pants are the root of all evil.
That's funny, I thought the_root_of_all_evil [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/profiles/view/the_root_of_all_evil] was the root of all evil.

I like pants, they get the job done without too much discomfort. You just need to find the right one. The problem with making them optional lies in that I'd have to stare at hairy legs all the time.

Yes! We must throw off the trouser tyranny and create a pantsless utopia! We shall be kings, we shall be the Kings of Kings!

I like pants... in the winter. In warmer weather, it's shorts all the way... except for work. F that noise.

For other people though, I don't want to see your legs... unless you are of the lady folk, then it's okay.

Or you can, you know, take them off. Just saying.

Anyhow, no, I don't want them banned. That would be the first step towards apocalypse. Apocalypse, I tell ya'!
