It was rather disappointing for me. I love the show, but this is definitely the worst episode you've done imho. That song was horrible and lasted far too long, crazy Kratos lasted too long and wasn't really funny to begin with, and starting a new subplot just to cop out on it is just idiotic.
the man upstairs appears in numerous early episodes, though never seen.

... Amazing end to an amazing series. The man upstair should of been master hand or the god from black and white because they were both godlike figures who controled everything, but we will never know... unless it is an april fools as the series finale (although that is VERY unlikely)

EDIT: Actually now ive seen the game over badge says 26 episodes im pretty, sure it is april fools  or the badge is an april fools :p

P.S. Yes i did just log in after never speaking on the forums to say this LOL

EDIT 2: Actually thinking about it it wasn't as great as some of the other episodes. The friends song went on a bit long and so di the crazy kratos thing but it was still good.

I don't remember that. That changes things, but it still is a poor idea to bring that subplot up again, just to do an unnecessary, boring and far too long digression. Thank you for correcting me, though.

They had to do that or everyone would be saying where and who is the man upstairs? Granted the discussion went for a tad too long but that was to explain why they decided to not show who the man upstairs was to avoid moaning. Also there may be another doomsday arcade as of the evidence i stated in my earlier post (and many other posts by other people) which means it was drawn out to make everyone think that the show had stopped and they were given a truthful reason although that may not be the case. Either way there was a reason behind it.

missing "the SMELL of his hair"?
sounds like hairy bum to me.

and you've gota admit, the ending IS kinda gay.
if they didn't whipe their faces and spitt it would have been the gayest "outcome".

by the way, the man upstairs is probably the same guy, who created this show in the first place...

All great spare for the ending, but you make a good point people would argue.

...Although Peter Molyneux would have been good - the only User i think who could fuck up something so badly.

doomsday arcade was the greatest escapist series ever since episode two.
the story, the humer, the music, the cemraman, the graphics, and of course the acting, were all completly great.

i think that doomsday arcade is better than zero panctuation.

i'm gonna miss doomsday arcade
oh, i forgot to mention,
the castumes were great, the equipment was convincing, the invaiorments and buildigs that were choosen for the filming were perfect, and last the rarly used make up was also good.
i can't believe i forgo to mention all of this.
if i forgot to mention anything else, it's not because it's not good(everything is good), it's because i forgot

Fashionably Late Duke Nukem is Fashionably Late D: .
Ah well, a big series has to end with something that everyone has been expecting for ages, I guess.

Edit: Oh, and just remembered, what happened to whathisname? The guy who wiped both Michael's mind of the Polybius thing?

Well, I finally got around to watching this, and though the series has hit a rough patch for me lately, as it's started referencing far more games than I can keep up with, the finale certainly didn't disappoint. I also liked the big twist ending, even though it was a copout, you have a good point for pulling it.

Overall, fantastic ending to a fantastic series, and the faces you guys made at the very end were priceless! Unfortunately, I'm quickly running out of shows to watch here on the Escapist. Ah well, at least this one went out with a bang.

you know who the man upstairs is? It's YOU! Yes, YOU! Who created the videogames and controlled the characters... it's a never-ending circle of logic that actually isn't true. lol.

Colonel Nefarious? He's in it near the end, one of the people that Shanks talks to.
