On the hottest day on record in the century I had two guys filming in thick woolen jumpers and overalls. I was not popular. In between each shot we all had to stand in a bath of cold water.

I really wish I could find a way to download the title theme by Ian Dorsch. Anybody know where I can get me some of that good old Nintendo-core??

Ian and I talk about this practically every day (damn him). He's done a ton of great songs for us over the past year or so, and I'd like nothing better than to release them in a downloadable format. As soon as we figure out how to properly manage a release of that kind, we'll let you guys know. Promise.

On a similar topic, whats the issue with releasing the Escapists videos (bookended by advertisements, both for the Escapist and whatever has bought space at the time) as a downloadable form, or even a podcast?

Advertising-based business models are always tricky, no less so in this economy. We have a good one right now. It works for us, for you and for the awesome folks who's work we support by publishing it at The Escapist. So we're sticking with it for now. Offerring our content via free downloadable with services like iTunes is a long term goal, but we're not there yet. We'll keep you posted.
