I've always been told I am painfully...painfully socially awkward and thus a Dork. (That's how I make my friends and my livins.)

Then I've been called a geek because I like video games, sci-fi and fantasy.

So I am taking it that:

a dork is someone who is socially akward
a geek is some one who is fluent in the nonfactual part of life
and a nerd is some one who likes to study...

OT: I always thought nerd was a cool geek. It's probably because nerd sounds the nicest in my opinion. I'd prefer to be called one to a geek, anyway.
And I always think of nerds as those characters in movies, 'the cute nerdy girls best friend who she will probably end up going out with.'

And "dork", I'm pretty sure is exclusively an insult, although I could be wrong.

Seeing as it's a slang term for a particular body part, you're most likely right.

Geek is a person who is interested in technological/fantasy stuff. So pretty much Escapist people.
Nerd is a person who values intelligence very highly and are constantly studying.
Dork is someone who is classified as weird by others.
