I'm not going to be going. No time to do something like that. Also, I don't live anywhere near it.

Download Festival this year looks pretty rubbish, especially in comparison to Sonisphere Festival.

*edit*

For those unaware of what Download Festival is - it is a UK music festival mainly for Rock, metal and such. http://www.downloadfestival.co.uk/home/

Nah, I've never liked it's lineup as much as others, plus it's very expensive.

I went to Sonisphere last year, and I'm going to Bloodstock this year.

£100 a pop for bloodstock ;) Compared to £170 or whatever it is at download...

I would love to... I want to experience a music festival once in my life. But I live in Canada, broke as hell. I can't even go to the music festival in my city, where Weezer is going to be performing because I can't afford it. Kind of sad about that.

The only reason I know about Download is because Turisas performed at it once and it was on the DVD included with The Varangian Way. Looks pretty huge.

Way to contribute absolutely nothing to the thread. [http://lmgtfy.com/?q=download+festival]

There's about one guy in my school who raves about it all over facebook. Last year's download had a great line-up, but this year looks pretty shit. And I'm not awfully big on festivals or gigs in general, and the money it takes for the ticket plus all the supplies required is astronomical for one weekend of drinking, camping and listening to bands.

Any festival with 30 Seconds To Mars is shit. Even if AC/DC are playing. One awesome headliner and 2 meh ones does not add up, as well as some truly awful bands playing.

OP: Bloodstock>Sonisphere>Download this year.
