Ok someone pls tell me what did I miss?Where is this spoiler that everybody seems to know atleast about who is NOT gonna be Da3 about?
As for me small hints I gathered about the overall story in both Dragon Age games:
1.Sandal has to be something important both lorewise and as part of Da3(no need to explain this since i hope everyone that played both games without the metality that it's a bad game would understand why)
2.Leliana-While I disagree on people saying that it's Bioware's screw up having the posibility to kill her but not acknowledge it in sequel I doubt that many people killed her and when they did it was just a run of game when you try every possible combination to get 100%.Anyway they wouln't do that if it wasn't something trully important for Da3 story or they could've just had Cassandra be the boss of that order if leliana was dead. She'll very likelly be one of the crew and important plot member somehow to how important Anders was in Da2.
3.Love interest-I really think the love interest will be one of the few npc that come back for Da3 and won't be just a random cameo, but this mostly arcs to what the plot is so is less important.
4.Grey warden and Hawke-They are deffinetly main protagonists in the sequel one way or another. That is made pretty clear both by Leiliana in the end game and by Flemeth at the top of the mountain.I'm pretty sure she wasn't talking like that about events concerning just a city even if it was an important city like Kirkwall.Im thinking there are very low chances that you play as them and very high chances you wither follow their steps as the plot advances or actually trying to save them(?)from the da3 bad guys and that would make sense having the loving interests in party.(Just small assumptions but I really think both are very important for the plot in da3).
5.Morrigan/demon kid-The fact that leliana speaks about The Grey Warden I can only assume the demon kid exists in the lore.IF it's relevant to the plot in da3 i have no idea because it's hard to understand the relation btwn Flemeth and Morrigan. Sure Morrigan asked you to kill her and if you do it or not doesn't matter since Flemeth survives either way since Hawke brings that amulet to the Keeper. But on the other hand Morrigan could have acted just from the impulse knowing Flemeth would have probably killed her when she needed to change body, but that could have been just imediate anger since usually when she speaks of her childhood she gets pretty emotional. So if da3 touches more of this subject I doubt we'll actually see Flemeth/Morrigan on oposing teams.Maybe the bad guy is the demon kid(even if he would be around 10-11 he can probably shapeshift into some big bad dragon since he comes from both a shapeshifter and archdemon). Also since Bioware likes this kind of stuff wouldn't be that bad to see grey warden and Morrigan trying to kill their son. I can only imagine Fox News on this
6.Where will it be set-Maybe this is the most important thing and the story can only be accomodated in relation to this. Both Origins and da2 even more had very small maps but somehow they provided 30+ hours.I doubt they'll make the same design errors they did in Da2 of doing to the same place even if it made sense but they went from good to very bad(excellent idea poor execution). So once we'd know where it's set we could actually make better imagining of what could be about. Also while i know and understand many people hate them having deep roads and fade related quests is not optional. It should be a must kinda like in any FR game you have a little section where you go to the Underdark.
P.S. Unrelated but I already seen posts here about it.Dragon Age 2 wasn't a bad game at all,it was actually damn good. It had enough flaws to be labeled as it by the nitpicking forum audience(like repetitive dungeons but that didn't bothered me in Mass Effect with the same storage rooms and sure it didn't break my experience in Da2)that doesn't mean they shouldn't make unique dungeons, but seen how good both DLC were(probably best DLCs ever created for any game),specially Mark of the Assassin,I doubt they will make the same mistake.
Da3 will only be seen as a great game because of how the sheep mentality of internets saw Da2 and they will have very low expectations.
